Gotta Catch 'Em All!

Summary: The Ebon Triad is up to no good, and the Shining Trapezohedron has sent Visitors to stop them.
Warnings: Pokemon can get PRETTY DARK sometimes.

No matter what you were doing before, when the dazzling flash of light clears you find yourself at the base of a Ferris wheel in what seems to be an amusement park, a vague memory of someone asking 'Now, are you a boy? Or a girl?' running through your head.

Wherever you are, it's definitely not Hinoto-Ri. And just what are those strange creatures that everyone else seems to be taking for granted?

She peers out the window again.

"Hey, if you look to the right, you can see the Lostlorn Forest!"

Kotoha is making frantic gestures.

"Patrat! Send out Patrat!"

Sasha takes a peek in the alley and spots the the two Pokemon. These two look unique! She heads to where Tsukasa is and crouches down to the Pokemon's level. "Hello! What are you two doing here? Secret Pokemon stuff?" It doesn't really matter to her that the Pokemon can't talk back.

"Sheer disbelief? Wow... that sounds like one hell of an ego." Sasha kind of understood what happened, as extreme as it sounded. If one person spent years building something up only to have it crushed, it would make sense that losing that thing would be devastating. "I guess that happens when you lose your sense of purpose..."

[stringsmon]

"Fenne!"

The Fennekin darts forward, tugging at Sasha's shoes. The Espurr, meanwhile, is tugging at Tsukasa's robe, extending its paws upward as if begging for a lift.

[resipiscent]

"Well... mine probably wouldn't have either. I kind of... things happened." It's a long story.

[resipiscent]

"They're probably not in town. Outside, though, I dunno. Though at home, even if you were in a town it didn't really make a difference." Heartless appear anywhere, after all.

"Maybe. I don't want to attack them unless they attack me first, though."

Tsukasa carefully moves to pick up the Espurr, holding it gently.

"Are you okay? What happened?"

There's a flash of light as Espurr stares into Tsukasa's eyes.

The dizzying array of psychic visions suggest that Espurr and Fennekin are looking to save their friends from...extremely strangely-dressed people.

ACTION TIME

There's an abandoned warehouse in Nimbasa. According to the psychic visions handed out by Espurr, a large amount of smuggled Pokemon are being held captive in there.

Time for Kotoha and the Visitors to ride in like heroes!

It's not like Tsukasa is a total stranger to getting his mind messed with, but at least this was a relatively benign version. He's not one for letting animals get hurt at all though, and so he's got his staff in his hands, ready to kick some serious ass.

Ruri showed up, in her sad disguise, sad because while they were local clothes, her pokemon, which was a troll type liked the white belly shirt with a giant red R on it and matching miniskirt. She thought it was for Ruri. Really, she's smart but bad at this sort of thing and figured blending in would help more than her uniform.

"So I assume that since we aren't calling the authorities this is something to do with local corruption?"

Kotoha just stops and stares.

"...Ruri what are you even wearing."

Brief shake of her head, clearing away distracting thoughts.

"No, wait, this is no time to get distracted. Anyway, I'm the Champion pro-tem, so I basically am the authorities."

"Local clothes? Ghastly helped me find them. Why?"

"...I'll explain later, when we aren't about to bust up a ring of Kalosian Pokemon smugglers, okay?"

She shrugs, "All right."

Sasha just stares at the Fennekin for a moment, trying to figure out what to do with it, but then she sees the flash of light. "What was that?" she asks, her attention now on the Espurr.

"Kalosian...? I take it that's another region in this world?" Sasha stares at the warehouse intently, tries to figure something out, and fails. "So, what's our plan of attack?"

[resipiscent]

"I think that's the smart way to do things." He swings his feet a little, looking up at Tsukasa. "Some stuff is just immediately hostile anyway, though."

[resipiscent]

"We might as well go right in. Though maybe we should come in from different entrances?" Back to being his grown-up self, Riku's got his Keyblade in one hand and Murkrow on his shoulder. "It'd be easy for them to escape if we just all walk in the front door."

[electricyousei]

"We could seal the alternate exits and box them in too. Perhaps if we found the power junction we could do something with the lights."

She smiles sympathetically.

"That's kind of how I felt when I got to Hinoto-Ri. I think I've done okay though."

"Lostlorn forest?"

She turns to look.

"That sounds kind of gloomy...."

[blessed_by_the_world]

Akane glances back in surprise.

"Huh? But I thought you said it wanted to see my strength..."

She's frowning in confusion, but Kotoha knows best, so Akane will toss out the borrowed pokemon.

"Um, Patrat, Go!"
