Summary: The Ebon Triad is up to no good, and the Shining Trapezohedron has sent Visitors to stop them.
Warnings: Pokemon can get PRETTY DARK sometimes.

No matter what you were doing before, when the dazzling flash of light clears you find yourself at the base of a Ferris wheel in what seems to be an amusement park, a vague memory of someone asking 'Now, are you a boy? Or a girl?' running through your head.

Wherever you are, it's definitely not Hinoto-Ri. And just what are those strange creatures that everyone else seems to be taking for granted?

Kotoha finishes counting under her breath and springs to her feet.

"Okay, let's do this!"

LEROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOY JENKINS!

And with that, she charges right through the portal.

"Um... no."

She doesn't want to admit that she has no idea what the woman is talking about.

"Okay!"

She points dramatically as she yells. Dramatic pointing helps, right?

"Patrat, tackle!"

You had powers before you got a persona? That must have been really cool! I was just normal before."

[stringsmon]

"Patrat!"

The small rodent pokemon hurls himself at the Timburr, chittering excitedly.

[M'gann watches Kotoha jumps into the portal. She then shrugs and jumps in herself.]

Here we go.

Riku nods back to Atoli, who looks a little uncomfortable still. "It's safe, I promise. Better than staying out here, though, right?"

Tsukasa nods and follows the others into the portal. Not like they're going to do much staying out here.

"Understood."

She nods and walks into the portal.

"Well, okay..."

She can't help but be nervous, still. But she'd be fine, she just needed to trust.

Round One, Fight-O!

As the group walks out of the portal, they're treated to a scene of pandemonium - strange pokemon are running all over the place, while oddly-dressed people in red suits are trying to catch them.

One of them in particular notices the Visitors arriving and turns to address them.

"Hey! You unstylish weirdos, this is your fault, isn't it! Well, I'm gonna take you all down! Houndoom! Teach these poorly-dressed meddlers a lesson!"

Kotoha pauses and takes a long look at the Houndoom.

"...you guys handle him, I'm gonna go look for the leader."

And with that, she just zips past the guy in the suit.

Have at it, Visitors!

Alright, Conner come on out.

[A Machop comes out of her Pokeball and squares off against hiss opponent.]

Conner, use the karate chop.

[Conner launches at the houndoom with a fierce karate chop.]

On his shoulder, Kuro is flapping its wings excitedly, and he nods to it. Black feathers scatter as he takes off, beginning to circle the battlefield. "Wanna team up on him or take turns?"

"This isn't the most efficient way of doing this. Go for the commander. Ghastly?"

She peers over at the Pokemon floating over her shoulder and it grins evilly before looking at the Thug itself with swirly hypnotic eyes and tries to put the goon to sleep.

[stringsmon]

BOOM. The Flare Grunt is out like a light, with not even enough time for a protest. His Houndoom stares around in a bewildered fashion, trying to process what just happened.

"Wurf?"

[The Houndoom's problems get worse a second later when M'gann's Machop lands a fierce karate chop on the back of its head.]

The Houndoom's eyes cross before it collapses in a dead faint.

There is now nothing preventing the Visitors from going deeper in.

"Well, that was quick."

And she may not know what fashions are in here but come on. No color variation in the wardrobe? How boring is that?

"Let's keep going."

"Agreed."

She nods to the group and continues in.

Not wanting to take her eyes off the battle, Akane fumbles for the pokeball in her pocket. When she pulls it out, she risks a glance back at Kotoha.

"Should I throw it now?"

Kotoha nods excitedly.

"Go for it!"

[blessed_by_the_world]

"Okay!"

She hurls the pokeball at the Timburr.

"Go!"

Dramatic yelling just seems especially appropriate right now.

It is entirely appropriate. The pokeball makes a strange whooshing sound as it flies at the Timburr, shakes once, and is still.

She spends a second on edge, watching to see if anything else will happen. When the ball remains still, she lets out a breath she didn't know she was holding and jumps up and down a couple of times.

"I-it worked! I did it!"
