The urge to place his hand at the top of his head and see just how much height she had over him comes and goes briefly, a childish action from another time that he doesn't remember at all.
But really she needs to stop laughing because, after another moment, he's letting out a chuckle. No one ever told him laughter was contagious. "Why are we laughing?"
