Who: Earl Ciel Phantomhive & Lady Elizabeth "Lizzie" Middleford
Where: The tea room where Lizzie works.
Summary: You know you want cute Ciel and Lizzie times. The couple needs to catch-up, reconnect and spend some quiet, tea-sipping time together. (I'll add to this, no doubt.)
Warnings: Adorably awkward.

After speaking to Lizzie's boss and making the appropriate preparations, Ciel readied himself to surprise his fiancé. He wore a simple blue suit, a traditional Victorian top-hat and his newly shined shoes. (It really was a pain to do such things by himself, but he didn't have a choice.) After tucking some money into his pocket, the Earl grabbed a decorative cane and walked out the door.

While he hadn't become accustomed to his new surroundings - that would take awhile - Ciel could say that he was grateful for some of the technology he had encountered. For example, he found that he could cook his own meals (when he didn't feel like dining out) and the thing called the "television" was actually entertaining now and then (not that he watched it much).

He even liked his job, though he was certain it would be temporary. After all he only needed to gather enough funds to open up Funtom again. And, while he worked for a toy and candy retailer, he was slowly but surely making contacts that he could (and would) use in the future.

But none of that mattered as much as speaking with Lizzie. As he walked into the tea room, he focused entirely on having a relaxing time with his cousin and fiancé. It had been some time since they had spent any time together.

Tipping the hostess, he was quickly seated. Ciel then took off his hat and set his cane aside. Now all he had to do was wait for the hostess to pass along the message to Lizzie.

[Lizzie emerges from the back, dressed in a cute waitress outfit. It has been, admittedly, a little strange to have a job. She is not a stranger to physical labor, to be sure, but her privileged upbringing meant she never had to-- indeed, was never expected to-- work.

Luckily for her, the work is fun and she gets to have snacks during her breaks, so she's not complaining one bit.

She beams when she notices Ciel sitting there. Having him here is thrilling and worrisome at the same time, but she can't bring herself to think about the reasons behind either when he's here in front of her.]
