For the first time since arriving in Hinoto-Ri, Hizumi is utterly shaken. He can't even bring back one of his usual smiles - the best he can do is put a hand to his head, concealing his face behind the revolver while he tries to collect himself. The corner of his mind that continues to be staunchly rational notes that his entire body is shaking, and he should probably do something about that, but he knows it will be impossible until he calms down.
And how difficult that is, after a such a sight.
He takes a slow, deep breath. Calm. He must be calm.
"...No ill effects. Or at least... not from using the Persona itself. I can't tell if I feel any stronger right now," if anything, he feels weaker from the revelation, "...but there is a presence in the back of my mind. I can feel him there." He keeps his voice level, a lot like the voice he used back in school when reporting any scientific discoveries he'd made. Those days when he'd still dared to hope.
