"Amagi-senpa!" Kanji screamed, watching her run away. "Dammit, don't be a dumbass!" It was his turn to break into a run, which was harder in this Santa costume. Yet as he did, there was a flash of light, and his Persona ran alongside him, the larger creature taking greater strides until it caught up to Yukiko and grasp her in its arms...still running? If it had been another time, Kanji would have marveled at how easy that had been and how it was getting easier in the city, but this wasn't the time.

"Yo! Why am I the one thinkin' straight here?! We're a team, remember?" Kanji's voice was already far behind, but he was yelling loud enough for her to hear him. "When you get close enough, you mind punchin' some sense Senpai for me? DO IT TAKE-MIKAZUCHI!"

The giant skull Persona took the arm holding Yukiko...pulled and back, and then...threw her with all his might. This was a lot faster than just running.
