"...." What, no. Avitus, no. He can't quite process that idea, so he ends up just staring at Kazuya, eyes still wide and feathers fluffed for a long moment, standing up slowly as the other did. He came up to about the other's height, too -- though with the way his legs were, it was due to his stance, more than having a set height.

"I... You... A-are all your powers behaving so... so strangely?" Nothing about this was reassuring to him, for reasons he wasn't likely to get into just yet. The burd's rattled enough that it takes him a second to realize what he just said, too.

Then he blinks as he realizes it, and he swiftly looks Kazuya over, his alarm deflating into distressed confusion.

"Wait, how can you teleport? Aren't you human?"

Because clearly, humans can't do that. Right? Right.
