He was quiet for a moment, tilting his head slightly as he mulled it over. It did make sense, but it made him wonder if they were working with the same sense of what a "god" was in the first place. She seemed to be speaking of mythologies, while he meant forces that were already there.
Or... maybe that was what she meant? If belief influenced reality, just as much as the other way around, then....

And that thought made him pause too, as he'd started again to pull out a book. When he returned? ...but he was having so much fun here. He missed his brothers, yes, but... as he thought about it, he realized he didn't really want to return. Not yet, anyhow.
A hint of a smile found the corner of his mouth at that, and he pulled the book out the rest of the way, to flip through it.
"You... were wanting history books, correct?" He skimmed what looked like the index, and showed it to her. Looked like a book about the ancient history of Japan. "Like this?"
