Her being used to it wasn't the same thing as him wanting to take advantage of it, or not feeling as though he were imposing, though. But if she wanted to, that would be fine with him.
He nodded, and shifted the tote bag he was wearing over his shoulder, so he could pull his sketchbook out of it, and his pencil. He glanced around, then headed for a table which was nearby, to settle into a chair and find a blank page.
It didn't take him more than a few minutes to have enough of a map to show -- the rivers and lakes, and the water at the bottom of the page that some of those emptied into, were all clear enough, as was an area he'd outlined in the upper left area, among markings which had to be of mountains. And more mountains across the top, to the right, and down the left side, meeting the water. Mountains to the lower right, heading up....
"This," he said, pointing out something in the upper left, "is about the size of this city we're in now. That's the Citadel, where I'm from."
