There's a brief flash, barely distinguishable from a reporter's camera, and then the Princess is no more. Her royal image is replaced by an androgynous, cowled figure, and she slips into the shadows like water, searching for the source of her anxiety.
Eventually, she makes her way to the entrance of the place where the competitors were taken before their battles. A few well-thrown Deku Nuts should do the trick for any guards standing nearby, and with any luck, she'll be able to sneak backstage...
