Right now, Desco is in such a foul mood that she doesn't even react to the whole bat thing. She does mutely accept the pet, though.

She clenches her claws together, gouging further furrows in the bottom of the crater before speaking in a flat, toneless voice.

"Desco can't remember the last time she was this angry."

The tears flowing from her wrists slowly mix with the dirt in her fists, forming gobs of strangely black mud.
