The air around one of his hands seemed to shimmer, briefly, with some faintly greenish glow, as he shoved it back down to his side, but the distortion left almost as soon as it was apparent, with no other effects.
Depending on how sensitive anyone around him was to these things, they might be amused to note that whatever telekinesis he might've been about to use, it had fizzled out, presumably with some of his resolve to maintain the demanding, hard front he was trying to keep up.
Quite plainly, tables had not been literally flipped just now.
