Yamato couldn't stop the quiet laughter as the women shrieked in panic, Cerberus climbing up the tree after her, ripping out branches and chunks of tree bark in its wake. The beast wouldn't kill her, of course. If Cerberus really wanted to, it could have set the entire tree alight, or snapped its jaws around one of the woman's flailing legs...
Then the women slipped, and fell to the ground with a dull thudding noise, and Cerberus followed immediately, the ground almost shuddering when its massive bulk crashed onto the ground. It loomed over the woman, its fangs bared and throat alight with a fire bubbling up from its stomach. It very much looked like it was ready to bite Lash's head off - and snapped its jaws down-
Right onto the front of her clothes. It hauled her up torso and head off the floor, leaving her legs to drag on the grass between the demon's legs as it padded back over to Yamato with its tail wagging, like it was bringing back a stick.
"Seems you lost," Yamato said after a pause, lifting his gaze to the horizon. Seemed she tried to call something, but if this had been a true fight, she would've been killed before it could have assisted her. Shame.
