Summary: An extremely spaced out blue-haired kid with demon hand finds himself in a different world and is completely lost.

[Sig was dozing off while spending his usual after-school time in the forest by Primp Town. The next thing he knew was finding himself at a completely different place. Or was it different? It felt similar, but he didn't exactly know why. Was he here before, long time ago? He scratched his head, confused.]

...Huh?

[This wasn't really good. What was he going to do with all the bugs that was going to get lured to the honey he put on the trees just a while ago?]

Not good...

[He needed to find a way back. He walked away from the forest, and eventually ended up in the city, where he quickly lost track of direction due to massive the place was as compared to a tiny rural town of Primp.]

U-hee... [Sig sat down onto the street, looking up at the sky. Even he knew he was lost.]

[In the hustle and bustle of the city, someone in a black and white costume drifts through the air above Sig, her face buried in what appeared to be a tourist's map.]

...Why in the world does a city need a tea shop around every corner? You'd think they'd run each other out of bu -- Whoops.

[It falls from her hands towards the boy sitting on the street as she rotates it back and forth; Phantom Girl dives down to try and snatch it before it lands on top of Sig.]

[Sometimes a guy just needs his next fix, okay? Sometimes at bad times of the day too, like when it's miserably hot and the only clean shirt he has is long-sleeved. Oops. But Otonashi needed--

A coffee. Really badly. Okay maybe he didn't need one, but he wanted one enough to venture out of the huge house in Libra for a change, putting off the chores until later. And then there's a... kid with a serious sunburn on his arm? A confused kid, at that. Is it wrong for Otonashi to worry?]

[Sig, on the other hand, didn't notice the map almost falling onto his head even after he hears someone apologize. He looks up to see Phantom Girl and slowly blinks once.]

[Sig scratches his head in confusion with his "sunburnt" arm as he turned to look at a redhaired guy. Red's such a poopy color, Sig thought.]

...?

[Oh, right. Perhaps he was in the guy's way? Or maybe he was sitting on something the guy needed?] Oh.

[He gets up to his feet and moves aside and waits for the guy to pass.

...If only he had the mind to ask where in the world he was, Sig would have taken the time to ask. But alas, his simple-minded head didn't even process the opportunity.]

[Nano is happening by on her way to the grocery store when she catches sight of an unfamiliar child sitting by himself on the street looking confused.]

[Hideki went at a casual pace down the sidewalk, looking up at nothing in-particular as one hand fiddled absently with his passcard. Summer was always a little melancholic for him, as baseball season was well underway and he wasn't a part of it. But why focus on that when you could be eating comfort food?]

[A delivery man on a bike rang his bell, prompting Hinata to look for the source, only to see the bicycle making a bee-line for... some kid sitting in the street like an idiot.]

H-hey! Look out! [The blunette ran at the boy in the street, grabbing the back of his shirt and yanking him out of the way of the oncoming bicyclist.]

[Sig stares at the map for a while before looking at Phantom Girl to shake his head.]

[He was lost himself, so he probably wasn't going to be of help. He scratches his head, unsure what to do or what else to say.]

[And Sig finally realizes what Otonashi was trying to tell him. His realization shows up as a faint facial expression.]

Ah. Don't want to be stepped on. That would hurt.

[Which made him curious...] There are giants here?

[Sig blinks lazily as he looks over to the direction of the voice. He scratches his head, as if he's unsure whether he's lost or not.]

I think.

[He had no clue where he was, so that would mean he's lost, right?]

[Sig didn't even notice the bicyclist until he realized he was being dragged away from the spot he was sitting in. Even with that he lazy watched the guy ride past before looking at Hinata was a confused look.]

Right... [Your powers of observation are astounding, Sig. He reaches out to the boy.]

Come on, I'll help y--

[Did... did he hear that right?]

Eh? Giants?! No... Why? [He's just rubbing the banged-up side of his face now, confused. Following this kid's line of thought is going to be frustrating, he thinks.]

Oh. [He scratches his head as he stays in his spot, not realizing the offered hand.]

Giants can step on people. [At least, that is his reasoning... But Sig's logic has always been kind of off.]

A-ahh... What does that have to do wi-- [Wait a second.] No, that's not what I meant. I mean regular people can step on you. You're in the road...

[Sig looks down at Otonashi's hand and blinks once...

And then looks back up at Otonashi.]

Do you want something from me.

[He does finally get that he shouldn't sit in the streets and gets up to his feet though.]

He lets out a long, wavering sigh. Fine.]

Yeah, I was trying to help you up. I thought it was obvious...

[Nano crouches down, offering a hand.]

This city is called Hinoto-Ri. My name is Nano Shinonome. What's yours?

[Nope, this guy is Captain Oblivious. Sig gives another long stare back at Otonashi.]

[Well one thing he has found out is that this red-haired guy is a pretty nice guy.]

[Sig gives a stare at the girl's hand.]

My name is Sig.

[He gets the wrong idea for the offered hand, though.]

... Ah. [Otonashi facepalm count around Sig: 1.] So... are you waiting for someone? Usually people don't sit in the road like that.

[So what was he doing? Sig himself wasn't sure anymore. He takes a moment to think, scratching his head. A moment, meaning a good two minutes.]

Oh. I'm lost. Don't know how to get home.

[Otonashi can be patient, but this is pushing it. The summer heat, his inappropriate attire, and this ridiculous situation leave him somewhere between confused and frustrated.]

Home? Your apartment, or-- ah, are you new to Hinoto-Ri?

[Is this kid slow in the head or something? Hinata gives him a blank look in response to this remarkably unspectacular reaction.]

You... almost got hit by someone on a bicycle. Didn't you see them?

[What an accurate perception, Hinata. That is exactly what Sig is.

Sig looks at the bicyclist who was now in the distance for a good minute before he slowly realizes what could have happened.]

Oh. That wouldn't be good.
