Gabriel unlocked the door and stuck the key in a pocket before turning to face the kid, arms crossed. "Yeah, money. Isn't that a bitch?" He'd never needed money before and, really, he didn't need it now, not to survive, but it was still nice to have. Besides, the shop gave him something to do; something you needed when you were an easily-bored Archangel.
He shrugged. "You wanna work in a candy shop? There aren't any other employees right now and, hey, you get to sample the merchandise, if you want to." It wasn't that he needed help but this guy was looking for a job and Gabe didn't really like working by himself.
