Prologue to Gears

Atop the 4th Wall

Who: Open to all, even those not going to Geartopia.
Where: Magic Building, then to unknown worlds.
Summary: Event Start!
Warnings: Gears. Gears everywhere.

The MAGI center had always been a closely guarded secret for the past year. The area it was nestled in was quiet. Demons don't bother coming to a nearly empty part of the city, much less humans. Plus, the odd rumors were more than enough to keep even the more curious and adventurous at bay.

The building had no markings or a fancy sign. For all intents and purposes, it looked like an unmarked building in a row of other unremarkable buildings. After all, the best place for hiding was right in plain view. Two-sided windows barred anyone from looking inside and the building itself rose about six stories high and had a single door, located on the front.

Once inside, there was a man waiting behind a desk, blocking the pathway leading to what looked like a metallic door. The desk itself was sparse, having a single computer, a small potted plant, a small stash of paper that looked like it was never used and a ground-line telephone that was almost laughable in the age of COMP systems. The man, like most Japanese businessmen, was dressed in a sharp and clean suit.

Once people arrived, he looked up at them, his face perfectly neutral, voice gruff and demanding an answer as soon as possible. A burst of light emerged as his Persona appeared before him for a second, scanning them all, before he realized that they were all Visitors.

"Why are you ALL here?! Which one of you shared the location of this place?!"

Before anyone can answer, however, someone emerges from the single doors.

"I’m glad you all showed up!” Ciel, one of the Seven nearly pushes him away, before indicating for all of them to follow her. "As you might have realized, there’s been some problems around here, and we might need your help! I was off to get all of you actually! There wasn’t much time to send a message before it got closed down."

Well, that certainly was saving everyone some time.

“Come on, follow me!”
