A night of feasting and dancing
⊙
Who: Everyone (guests and non-guests alike)
Where: Geartopia
Summary: Party at the Thirsty Mare Tavern for booze and dancing and everyone's invited!
Warnings: Cowboys and Gears and Parties and Booze but mostly Booze
EVENT INFO: Read about it here if you're a new comer!
With the issue still unresolved as the days passed by, the Visitors and the Guests of Geartopia were reaching a peak as more of them appeared from the time rifts. Morale could plummet, but the mayoress would never allow that.
Thankfully, the city itself was hospitable and welcoming to all. The villagers that composed it were a colorful cast, after all. Perhaps drowning your sorrows in booze and a night of dancing would be helpful. Don't worry about the kids... well, there aren't any age limits here after all (...wait...)!
The Thirsty Mare was a large building that could hold the entire town if it needed to do so. Carved out of wood from the nearby forest with the permission of the Ancient Spirits, it rose above Geartopia like a protective beacon. It was a new building as well, no older than ten years, thus new even to the heroes who had come here before. A symbol of the growing economy and peace all around them, it was half town hall, half tavern.
At night? Definitely a tavern.
Cages of fireflies are hung up in the air, as pieces of moss and leaves are strung decoratively against the large heavy trees forming the building's skeleton. Lighting is provided with gas lamps hung around and a gigantic crystal chandelier in the middle.
To the left, a bar seats a few patrons who get tired of dancing, serving drinks for all. Don't worry; it's on the house tonight. At the far off of the hall, a giant table had been prepped with food: entire turkeys, beans (everyone loves beans here, it's quite magical), rye bread, corn, apple pie and sugar pie.
And the alcohol is definitely felt tonight, as the musicians (two wolves and what looks like a bear) settle in and begin playing. Most serious work could be held off until tomorrow, after all.
For now, have some fun! Try not to get drunk too much, the Cactus Juice here is pretty potent...

Also open~ | Feel free to invade his corner or bump into him while he hovers about the setting.
[But nothing like that seems to be happening yet, so hey, a Len like this one will count his blessings.]
[Unlike Saul up there, he's not quite as keen on getting socially involved. He'll quietly enjoy the atmosphere and a modest portion of free food while keeping to himself for the most part. Booze is right out; he wasn't fond of it when he last checked, and he would feel bad if he asked the barkeep to pour something he'd end up wasting...]
[An exception to the socialing thing might be made if he sees any familiar faces. Otherwise, he'll pull a Riku and find himself a corner. Once there, he will engage in the lovely spectator sport of people-watching.]
[--What? It's a legit way to pass an evening.]

So hello there, skinny guy, there is a tiny demon girl hovering into your corner holding a sugar pie in each hand and several of her tentacles. As she sets them down on the table, she levels an imperious crimson claw at him.
"Listen up, skinny guy! These are Desco's pies!"
Her long, crocodilian tail retracts into a tiny stub at the base of her spine, while the tentacled bulk of her secondary body slowly oozes its way into her back as she sits down, her shark-like teeth bared in a delighted, predatory grin. The golden eye set between her two tiny red horns swivels to focus in on Len as she continues.
"Desco is sitting here because you look like you don't eat much, but because she is generous she will share a slice of pie with you. Be honored!"
'Scuze the wait, had to get my head in shape
[Tentacles. And stuff.]
[Not a sight he sees every day.]
[...sure, we had clockwork horses and everything, but tentacles?
And she was imperious on top of it. Wonderful.]--Sure, whatever you say.
[No arguments yet, boss.]
S'fine!
"Here you go! Never let it be said that Desco is not generous to her lessers!"
She looks very proud of herself as she says this before she begins eating the pies with a dainty little fork in a incongruously delicate fashion.
Thankya. ^_^
...Thanks.
[But he won't touch that piece right away, and even then, we'll be talking an average of a small bite every four minutes.]

"Desco could tell you were skinny and bad at eating! Keep it up, stick-man!"
And then I ended up totally forgetting that I hadn't replied to this. 8D;;
'Stick-man?'
[Seriously, he didn't look that scrawny, did he? Sure, his design build wasn't exactly that of a muscleman, but...]
