A night of feasting and dancing
⊙
Who: Everyone (guests and non-guests alike)
Where: Geartopia
Summary: Party at the Thirsty Mare Tavern for booze and dancing and everyone's invited!
Warnings: Cowboys and Gears and Parties and Booze but mostly Booze
EVENT INFO: Read about it here if you're a new comer!
With the issue still unresolved as the days passed by, the Visitors and the Guests of Geartopia were reaching a peak as more of them appeared from the time rifts. Morale could plummet, but the mayoress would never allow that.
Thankfully, the city itself was hospitable and welcoming to all. The villagers that composed it were a colorful cast, after all. Perhaps drowning your sorrows in booze and a night of dancing would be helpful. Don't worry about the kids... well, there aren't any age limits here after all (...wait...)!
The Thirsty Mare was a large building that could hold the entire town if it needed to do so. Carved out of wood from the nearby forest with the permission of the Ancient Spirits, it rose above Geartopia like a protective beacon. It was a new building as well, no older than ten years, thus new even to the heroes who had come here before. A symbol of the growing economy and peace all around them, it was half town hall, half tavern.
At night? Definitely a tavern.
Cages of fireflies are hung up in the air, as pieces of moss and leaves are strung decoratively against the large heavy trees forming the building's skeleton. Lighting is provided with gas lamps hung around and a gigantic crystal chandelier in the middle.
To the left, a bar seats a few patrons who get tired of dancing, serving drinks for all. Don't worry; it's on the house tonight. At the far off of the hall, a giant table had been prepped with food: entire turkeys, beans (everyone loves beans here, it's quite magical), rye bread, corn, apple pie and sugar pie.
And the alcohol is definitely felt tonight, as the musicians (two wolves and what looks like a bear) settle in and begin playing. Most serious work could be held off until tomorrow, after all.
For now, have some fun! Try not to get drunk too much, the Cactus Juice here is pretty potent...

[Not.... entirely a lie, either.]
Doesn't it make sense I'd want to talk to you?
no subject
[Such a cruel and unforgiving world this is...!]
no subject
In all that commotion? Yeah.
no subject
[It must simply be his ~*charming personality*~ at work again.]
no subject
Someone like me?

[It's not like he wanted help, anyway. He appreciated it, but he didn't need it.]
no subject
[Hmmm!]
I guess I'll just have to continue to observe.
no subject
[It's not like they have any real instructions.]

no subject
[Not only would getting jostled around in a crowded festival aggravate his injuries, but it really wasn't his thing.]
no subject
[He waves his hand idly. At this rate, he'll be completely sobered up again before he even gets to have fun!]
no subject
[Hey, it wasn't like he was intending to be a buzzkill.]
no subject
Guess not!
[Classy, Yaiba. Classy.]
no subject
If I'm boring you, I can just leave.
no subject
You were going to get food, right? Don't let me stop you.
no subject
[He wouldn't stick around longer than his welcome. Besides, there was someone else he had to check on. Pushing himself out of his seat, he offers a parting wave as he turns to go.]
I'll see you around later maybe.
[Though also likely not, unless this thing dragged on more.]
no subject
[Ah. Right, there was one last thing...]
--Also, if you see someone who looks like me named Hizumi, tell him to give me a visit, would you? A ton of people have mentioned him, but I haven't seen him yet.
[Not that he's been actively searching... yet. It's a good thing there's so many other distractions right now.]
no subject
[Not that he'd send Hizumi in Yaiba's direction ever. This was probably bad enough for Hizumi without meeting him. He somehow doubted Hizumi even wanted to meet him, not yet a devil or not.]
no subject
'Later, then!
no subject
[And with another wave, he's walking off into the crowd.]
