After the (mostly) harmless chaos of Halloween, the city lies dormant for a few days in the aftermath. Otherworldly quests, demonic pranks, and of course, the continued threat of the 13th Hour has no doubt worn down both citizens and Visitors alike. It's time for a bit of R&R and good old fashioned fun. Early the morning of November 4th, the first snowflakes begin to drift gently to the ground as the weather eases gently into the winter months...

By the time the city awakens, a light dusting of snow already lies upon the streets. Responsible citizens emerge to shovel the walkways, but it's soon evident that their efforts are of little use. The snowstorm, though not fierce, continues unabated throughout the day and by early afternoon, a good foot of snow covers Hinoto-Ri. Most have given up on accomplishing anything useful, preferring to wait out the storm, and the majority of shops and businesses unceremoniously remain closed.

The weather clears enough by 2PM to become the perfect atmosphere to enjoy a day off. Laughing children emerge to hold snowball fights in the middle of the streets, snowmen and sleds appear all over Capricorn, and the general atmosphere is congenial, relaxed, and soothing. Feel free to participate in the games or simply to sit with your friends by a cozy fire, playing board games or reading books or drinking a mug of cocoa. If you're particularly altruistic, you may even get a jump start on shoveling off the streets. The first snowfall is always a magical time of year. You almost can't help the feeling that it's... too peaceful.

"I see." Noda replied. He went quiet for a moment before setting his halberd to the side to start trying to pack snow.

"I will assist in making the biggest snowman!"

"Ah-- You don't have to-"

...But at the same time, playing in the snow with a friend is much more fun than by yourself, right? She'll kneel down again, helping him to pack in the snow as best as she can.

"I've never had enough snow to make a large snowman before... I wonder how big we can get it?"

"Perhaps we can aim for one larger than a building." Noda responded as he did his pack the snow. Whether it was too much ice or too little moisture, it was a little difficult for the snow to stay together.

But Noda, that large of a snowman was probably impossible to make... Then again, this was Noda we were talking about.

"One that big might be difficult..." It seems Aoi prefers to set her sights a little more realistically.

"What if we tried for... four feet? I think we should have enough snow here for that." And with how tough it is to get the snow packed as it is, it would already be a feat in and of itself. "Besides, I'm sure others would like to play too, so we should make sure to leave some for them."

"Urk..." Noda gave a frown at that, pausing the snowman-creation. He always had trouble thinking of others (other than Yurippe, that is), so he hadn't thought of that until it was brought up. To be bluntly honest, he still didn't care much of what others thought, but with Yuri gone... He decided not to let that thought stray too much.

"...Alright. We will settle for that height for now." With that said, he resumed packing his snowball before starting to roll it around on the ground.

And she continues to push snow closer to him to roll up!

"I feel like we haven't spoken much for a while... Have you been well lately?" It's idle chatter, really, but it also isn't as though making a snowman takes so much concentration that they can't have a friendly conversation at the same time.

Noda looks over at Aoi, questioning look on his face. Now that she mentioned it, it has been a while, hasn't it?

"I have been the same." He replied before going back to focusing on his snowman-making. Yes, making a snowman isn't an extremely difficult task; talking was, for this halberd-idiot though. "...I have been doing my daily training during my free time."

A difficult boss fight clearly.

"Even in this cold? I still practice in the garden, but I don't think I could make it all the way to the park..." There's some admiration in her voice.

"But it's a great way to warm up, especially in this weather. Don't you agree?"

omg if someone actually says that he'd try his best to be so social

Perhaps Noda actually was able to pick up the admiration: he gives a proud grin in response.

"The weather will not stop me from doing my training. I will do so even in the storm!" Maybe that was all he was good at, training and being off on his own. Speaking of training, though...

"I am still unsure how one would go with training his Persona. How does one get stronger through the use of spirits?" If he were smarter, he would have asked this question a lot sooner.

But would he be any good at it...

"Even a storm?" Now she just sounds concerned. That could be really dangerous, Noda...!

"As for your Persona... I don't think there is any way to make your original Persona stronger, but you could always try getting a new one from the Velvet Room?"

No, he wouldn't. so the situation would be worse

Perhaps it is fortunate that weather has been quite calm and pleasant, otherwise who knows what could have happened to Noda.

"The Velvet Room?" Other people may have spoken about it before, but this moron never took enough notice of it. "That is the place to acquire new ones?"

"Yes, that's right. You can get one other Persona, and you can switch it whenever you feel like returning to the Velvet Room. Some of the ones they have there are very powerful.

Also... if you help the people there, there is a chance they will give you an especially powerful Persona, too."

[halberdaxe]

"Helping..." Noda takes a moment to think over that. He proved himself somewhat useful while he was in the afterlife, but he was starting to feel unsure of his abilities, with no Yuri to help anymore. To think he was able to let go of the thought and pass on once.

"Is that so." Something to consider for future reference, Noda thinks to himself as he continues to roll the snowball.

"Some of the requests can be a little strange, but I think it's worth it in the end." Considering the one she did was all about finding people with strange eye abilities and all.

It's taken a while, but she finally gets the trick of packing it together enough to begin rolling - even if it's still quite small for now. "There we go...! Are you going to work on the bottom snowball? If that's the case, I can make the top one."

"I will consider it." Noda responds. This was good information to know. He wasn't sure whether Hinata or that wuss Otonashi knew this either, but he's most likely to not fully consider telling them about this. That's how he has been, after all.

He turns his attention back to the snowman-making, and he gives a nod in response. "Of course, the bottom one is larger, is it not?"

"Yes, that's right... And it looks like you're already doing much better than I am."

She nods at his snowball.

"But I'll keep working hard on this one in the meantime!"

Compliments always made him so happy. If he had a tail growing out, it would be so obvious he's happy. Then again, even without a tail, it was probably obvious enough with how his smile beamed on his face.

He doesn't exactly reply to Aoi, but instead he goes to roll his snowball up more enthusiastically.

it's such a good thing Aoi isn't the type to take advantage of this level of idiot

That certainly seemed to get him fired up, didn't it? She's a little surprised at first, but after a moment she just gives a small giggle and begins rolling up her own snowball with renewed energy. If Noda can do it, she can do it too, right-?!

...It's still a slower process than his, however.

During the process of the rolling, Noda may or may not have ran off for a bit, a little too focused on the rolling. When he comes back, his snowball had grown into a considerable size, which reached to around his chest.

He did try his best to keep in mind of not taking all the snow up... otherwise, who knows how much snow he would have tried to roll up.

"Would this be alright?!" He asks, patting at the snowball with a confident look on his face.

Oh, wow. That's... actually pretty impressive. With a snowball like that, their snowman was sure to delight any kids who happened to see it.

"Yes, that's perfect! Although... Mine is going to take a bit longer." She gestures sheepishly at her own significantly smaller snowball. She just doesn't quite have the same level of snowball-rolling skill, it seems.

Noda does see that Aoi's taking a longer time with her snowball. He stays quiet for a moment before awkwardly speaking up.

"I can assist if you'd like."

He's only hesitant because he himself wouldn't want any help. But he wasn't too sure whether the other would be like that either...

"Even though you already made one?"

She's certainly not protesting it - she's just a little surprised. "It's not too much work?"

"No need to worry. Physical labor is what I am best at doing." Noda replies with a smile. Boasting of his skills (whatever much he had) again...

Her expression softens into a smile. "Then, if you really don't mind... Thank you!"

"Understood!" Noda responds with a grin, and moves over to start pushing Aoi's snowball for her.

It takes some time, but not too long, for Noda to come back with the snowball larger. He almost lost track of the size, where it may have become bigger than the first one he made.
