1st Snowfall
Who: Everyone
Where: Everywhere
Summary: The first snowfall of the year!
Warning: Only if you hate snow and fun
After the (mostly) harmless chaos of Halloween, the city lies dormant for a few days in the aftermath. Otherworldly quests, demonic pranks, and of course, the continued threat of the 13th Hour has no doubt worn down both citizens and Visitors alike. It's time for a bit of R&R and good old fashioned fun. Early the morning of November 4th, the first snowflakes begin to drift gently to the ground as the weather eases gently into the winter months...
By the time the city awakens, a light dusting of snow already lies upon the streets. Responsible citizens emerge to shovel the walkways, but it's soon evident that their efforts are of little use. The snowstorm, though not fierce, continues unabated throughout the day and by early afternoon, a good foot of snow covers Hinoto-Ri. Most have given up on accomplishing anything useful, preferring to wait out the storm, and the majority of shops and businesses unceremoniously remain closed.
The weather clears enough by 2PM to become the perfect atmosphere to enjoy a day off. Laughing children emerge to hold snowball fights in the middle of the streets, snowmen and sleds appear all over Capricorn, and the general atmosphere is congenial, relaxed, and soothing. Feel free to participate in the games or simply to sit with your friends by a cozy fire, playing board games or reading books or drinking a mug of cocoa. If you're particularly altruistic, you may even get a jump start on shoveling off the streets. The first snowfall is always a magical time of year. You almost can't help the feeling that it's... too peaceful.

it's such a good thing Aoi isn't the type to take advantage of this level of idiot
...It's still a slower process than his, however.
Aoi you are too nice ;w;
He did try his best to keep in mind of not taking all the snow up... otherwise, who knows how much snow he would have tried to roll up.
"Would this be alright?!" He asks, patting at the snowball with a confident look on his face.
no subject
"Yes, that's perfect! Although... Mine is going to take a bit longer." She gestures sheepishly at her own significantly smaller snowball. She just doesn't quite have the same level of snowball-rolling skill, it seems.
no subject
"I can assist if you'd like."
He's only hesitant because he himself wouldn't want any help. But he wasn't too sure whether the other would be like that either...
no subject
She's certainly not protesting it - she's just a little surprised. "It's not too much work?"

It takes some time, but not too long, for Noda to come back with the snowball larger. He almost lost track of the size, where it may have become bigger than the first one he made.
no subject
"So now all we need to do is stack them. If you don't mind - I think I can handle that part." After all, she needs to do what she can to help, too!
Her face once again glows with those strange red gashes, but only briefly as she uses her power to lift the snowball onto the first one, lowering it gently and ensuring it will not fall. "...There! How does that look?"
no subject
All that was left was decorating!
"I'd like it to hold a sword." Figures, he'd want the snowman to be a hero.
no subject
In the meantime, she sticks in the two pieces of charcoal to get them started.
no subject
"Understood! I will go search for the perfect stick!" And there he goes, running off to find a stick to substitute for a sword.
no subject
...Oh, well. He seems to be having fun at least. With a small smile, she sets about finding some good branches to make the arms. She's pretty certain that the trees in the garden have lost a few due to the snowfall...
Here we go. By the time Noda gets back, there will be thin branches for arms sticking out of their snowman. Hopefully he could find a suitable stick!
no subject
"How will this work for a sword?" He gave a few swings with the branch to show. Since he had only trained on swinging around a halberd around, he wasn't as good at wielding a sword.
no subject
She steps aside, indicating one of the arms. But now that she looks, it's... awful scrawny. Will it be able to hold that stick up?
"Hmm... I'm not sure how we can make it look like he's holding onto the sword. Do you have any ideas?"
no subject
"...Perhaps the sword can be sheathed at its waist." He wasn't about to give up on the snowman wielding the sword in any form, though.
no subject
She puts a hand to her chin as she looks over the snowman. Eventually, she gives a small shake of her head. "...I don't see any other way it could be supported."
