Who: Noda and OPEN
Where: The Capricorn district's park
Summary: Noda's been MIA because he had holed himself up in his own apartment room and is pretty out of shape, so he's trying to get himself back into shape
Warnings: Hello violence.
Ever since the shadow event, Noda has been missing in action. If anyone were to have seen him it was during his late night trips to an open store to restock on food, but otherwise he had secluded himself away from socializing completely.
The reason behind his shut-in behavior for the last month or so was exactly what it was: the shadow beings. Unlike those who had acknowledged the shadows, Noda did not get even close to acknowledging his own, and when the shadows disappeared he immediately disappeared from human contact, reverting back to how he was while he was living once before.
What got him out of his room? The past month or so of not moving his body has made him so out of shape. He was one step away from hating himself even more before he took his halberd to get out for some training.
All that was left was avoiding any of those who might have seen his shameful shadow during the event...

The man continued to keep up an air of distance, and Jonathan was beginning to wonder if he was doing something wrong. 'Talking about controlling demons is probably a bad idea to people who fight demons without actually using them' crosses his mind later rather than sooner.
In any case, with the 13th Hour coming, there's actual, hostile demons on the prowl. One of them happens to be this particularly charming face nearby.
[[OOC: Hope you don't mind me RNGing a demon!]]

Noda did much better (maybe) as a fighter when prepared rather than sit around to talk. He was best at being a combat member even in the battlefront back when he was in the Afterlife, too, although that was iffy due to him being a stubborn moron. When he realized there were hostile demons appearing, he turned his attention over to them instead.
"If you are not here to chitchat, I suggest you leave." He responded, taking his weapon. Noda preferred to fight alone, despite the fact that he actually needed help in combat most of the time.
And yet, there he goes, running headfirst to swing his weapon at the demon.

From his experience with fighting, it's not a good idea to start stabbing at a demon out of nowhere. For one, it could overpower and kill you. It could also be immune to physical attacks, and all those technicalities. He... barely recognizes this one from Tokyo, though.
He glanced at Lailah, then pressed the Evoker to his head. Hell, he was here to use that thing, might as well see what it could do...
"...Persona."
You know how some entities just seem to get stuck in a pose? Well, yeah. Jonathan veered a bit closer, trying to get a better look- it would be disastrous to hit Noda by accident.

Instead, here's the purple-haired moron, swinging his bladed weapon right at the demon. The hit landed with successfully, but was far off from making a large damage though.

Except Jonathan isn't exactly keen on seeing someone else get mutilated in front of him. It's good his Persona knows
ZanGaru, because that wind spell will be heading right towards the demon in an attempt to blow it right smack into a nearby tree."Watch out! Garu!" Maybe Noda can step back and strike less aimlessly next time... or get blown along, if he doesn't even notice it.

"Are you trying to hit me!?"
The demon, on the other hand, after flying into the tree, was getting up, more furious than before with the damage received.

You tried, Jonathan. Gold star. "What- no, of course not!" Wouldn't it be funny if he ended up not knowing how to pacify Noda to the point the demon gets a chance to strike?
Well, no. That just sounds painful. And might just happen, at this point. "A demon like that can't be subdued just by brute force!"
I'm so sorry for the slowness and also of how Noda is
"Tch, no one orders me what to do!" Noda yelled back, getting a better hold of his halberd as he moved over to where Jonathan's side.
It's looking like Noda's going to attack Jonathan instead....
it's okay! and HAH gg jonathan
"Wait-!" Drawing his own sword- this is everything he doesn't want to do, ugh- he waves off Lailah to go deal with the demon. Why does he always say and do the wrong thing when it comes to people?
Drat the luck. He wants to be confident he can get out unscathed, but the only way to halt the halberd is to use his own skills. (As if his sword can do that.) And unfortunately, "I don't wish to hurt you!"

Amarok gets summoned and dashes to the demon to swipe some attacks as well.
"Tch, resorting to this..." Noda grumbled under his breath.

At least, he doesn't seem intent on attack him again. He gets Samson to cast Tarujaka- that, at least, helps a bit without outright attacking. He's (understandably) nervous about saying anything else.
"...Having help is never a detriment," he suddenly says.

And embarrassment made him even more angry.
"Tch...!" He gripped his halberd tighter before kicking off to dash towards the demon who was now pretty much ganged up by two other opposing beings.

Jonathan may be more ashamed than Noda, though- burdened? That's... a bit harsh. He elects to shove it aside for now, but can't quite tab it completely on Noda being rude. He is new, and hasn't... done much.
He's not going to say much, but willing his Persona and Lailah back should be message enough. "...Forgive my intrusion."
