Summary: The Aries Monster Strikes unexpectedly.
When: 19th of April, 11AC, 13th hour.

There had been no warning. No special feeling.

Just strange things that set themselves up on all parts of the city. But for five Visitors, the situation is far different than the rising panic that is slowly building in the city. Without warning, they are whisked into a destination, as the lights of the stadium shine brightly in their eyes. There is little time to think about the irony that, once again, the stadium is at the center of the issue. How did they get here?

Before they can think or even see who their compatriots are, the lights move of their own accord, shining on a gigantic figure standing nearly twenty feet tall. There are four golden ram heads with a single body.

"LAAAAADIES AND GENTLEMEEEEEN!!!"

It can speak? As it does, the happiest of the monster's head takes forefront.

"Weeeelcome to the greatest show on earth! The one, the only...me! Have you attended my media circus yet, or were you just sleeping? Regardless, congratulations! By a purely stroke of luck, you are the Outsiders that I have picked to fight me! You're all quite a challenge so to make sure I was up to the task, I've already practiced with citizens..."

It's face moves and changes to that one that looks terrified, the sound of grinding gears and metal turning.

"How they screamed and cried for mercy! Too bad for them!"

There's a pile of people to where it points with its cane. It's not...pretty to watch. There's more than a dozen people in there, no doubt...

"Are you ready for the main attraction, Outsiders? I'll start with only you five to face me in my full splendor!" The creature bows at the visitors, snickering to itself. As they watch, the head switches to the ram's head that looks angry.

"Now then! Formalities aside, this is a life or death situation! Death for you, of course. Fooooooor in this battle there is," Aries holds up its hands and goes back to the happier face. "NO rules, NO setup, NO stage level!" Confetti falls from the stadium's celebration piles. "Now then, Outsiders, let's see if you'll be able to save your beloved city, shall we?!"

"Cue the music!"

The monster's ego was clearly huge. Well there was no chance to say hi to each other, time to quickly prepare and get ready!

Thankfully the helicopter is inside of the barrier when the attacks hit. The area outside is left damage, as the parking lot and pathways leading to the arena are completely trashed, leaving nothing but smouldering craters. Good thing no one else was close by.

The barrier is showing intense lines of cracking, as the monster looks upwards, panicking, enough for a giant missile to hit from the blaster right into one of its faces. It tethers, trying to use its cane to stay upright...

Sasha winced and covered her face as the flames rushed over her. She had a bit of natural resistance to fire magic, but normally she also had a persona active to suck up fire damage. Kohryu was great and all, but no fire resistance meant she was going to take most of the brunt of the attack.

Once that was done with, Sasha took a moment to appraise the situation. Shinjiro had taken multiple hits; it stood to reason that he'd be in quite some need of healing. She sent a Diarahan his way, hoping that would get him back on his feet.

Then Sasha decided to attend to the various gadgets that had been scattered about. No one should have been surprised by her decision to claim one of the pens. "What does this do?" she wondered aloud, giving it a click. If it did something, that was great; if not, at least she could claim she received a pen from Q. Speaking of Q, he had mentioned that they should start using their mutation skills, but she wasn't entirely sure when to deploy hers. Being able to negate one hit of any sort of non-almighty damage would be a great boon, but she kind of needed to make sure everyone was patched up, first...

"Those are exploding pens, don't misuse them like that!"

Oh. Well just in case they were wondering if Q was being his usual self.

"Three clicks and then throw it at your target, four to stop the bomb from exploding!"

If it's any consolation, he's been hit with worse, but he's grateful, nonetheless, for the healing spell. And, after recovering from the barrage of hits, Shinjiro sprints over to where the Bus Stop Sign is (is this his or another one? And where the hell did Q gets this one from this time.)

Then, not wanting to waste the time he has, nor wanting to deplete his physical strength so quickly after recovering it, he summons Castor again, and aims for the ringleader's other weakpoint, before running up to strike the Krios with the weapon Q had so conveniently dropped. Might as well see what it can do.

That did it. Without a good standing, the monster began to topple over, before it crashed (violently, may we add) into the back of the stadium. Pieces of rubble and chairs fell. More damage to add to the city's tab, one supposes.

But that's not important right now. It's down for the count! With poor Sébastian still screaming silently, it's time for a team attack!

In the rush of dust and gravel, the three manage to attack the monster while it's down, dealing it additional damage. It stands there, struggling as weapons enter the softer part of its body, rendered completely silent for a few seconds.

Then there's the sound of rockets being fired from the helicopter taking advantage of the situation, as it moves just enough that its not noticed from the beast.

When all is said is done, the monster somehow manages to stand up again, but its definitely weaker. The stance is less upright than before, the cane looks like it's been cut in pieces and rust has begun to show on the heads. When it moves from one to another, they can see sparks and hear the cranking having issues.

Thankfully it also means that whatever spell was holding Sebastian in place appears to have been cleared.

It doesn't have time to counter-attack before the group goes again...
