"Damn..." Stuff going down, and he didn't have Lagann around. Not that he was completely helpless, but can't blame a guy for wishing he had what he was most comfortable using.

The keys he'd gotten from Q were stowed in the pocket of his coat, and he'd hauled out a large drill and was letting it rest on his shoulder. There was a small, brown creature on the opposite shoulder. Both Simon and Boota looked antsy - they wanted to go get things done, but this was really unfamiliar territory. And since there wasn't complete chaos and panic so far, perhaps giving the seemingly in-charge types the benefit of the doubt was a good idea.
Until then, though, he tapped his foot impatiently.
