Where: Pisces 5-07
Summary: The younger Link is freaking out, and he doesn't know why. This is totally weird for someone who has the Triforce of Courage, so he goes to seek out the other Link to see if he has any ideas. And maybe hugs.
Warnings: … None that I can think of? Maybe cavities from extreme Link cute.


He couldn't stand it anymore. He felt like he was going to cry, or scream, or something. He'd never been this terrified before - he'd always been able to at least keep moving and do what he had to do, but there was something about this that just was paralyzing.

There was one person he knew who wouldn't judge him, and who wouldn't expect anything from him. So Link forced himself to get up off of his bed and head to the door, closing it behind him and heading across the hall to knock on the other Link's door.

Hopefully he was home still.

He heads inside, looking nervous, trying to put his words together properly.

"I... I'm scared. I don't know why. It doesn't make sense. I've... never been this scared. And I'm not supposed to be scared. I... I have the Triforce of Courage."

That snaps Link right out of his stupor. "Wait, what? Um..."

He crosses over to the other Link, placing a hand on his shoulder. "You should sit down. On the bed if you'd like."

He nods, and heads over to the bed, sitting down. He's shaking a little, and he looks like he's going to cry.

"I... I don't know what's going on..."

[sky_child]

"Hey..."

He pulls up a chair and places it in front of Link, then sits--and, cautiously, grabs his hand.

"I don't know what's going on, but it's gonna be okay, all right?"

[nofairy]

... He nods, holding onto the other's hand tightly. It's a little better, now that he's with someone, but it's still really bad.

"... Okay. I... I believe you..."

[sky_child]

"Is there anything I can do to make it better? Something I could get you?"

[nofairy]

He shakes his head, and looks confused, before just reaching out and pulling the other Link into a hug.

It's unexpected, but it's something he can still give.

"It's gonna be okay," he repeats softly.

[nofairy]

He holds on tightly, though he's careful not to hold on too hard. Gauntlets and all.

"What... what do I do?"

[sky_child]

"Just stay in here with me. I'll take care of you."

[nofairy]

"... Thank you."

He's not used to people taking care of him, but it's... nice. The promise of someone to lean on is really comforting, and it allows him to calm down enough to stop shaking.
