Summary: Scorpions running around the city and one girl needs to get back into the swing of things. Might be stupid of her to face these things alone.

When she heard the post made earlier, Yukiko was heading back to her apartment from her job. Monsters attacking the city? This didn't sound good at all. While she was a fighter, she wasn't one to go looking for a battle so the best thing to do was to head back quickly as she could. If anyone needed help along the way, she and Amaterasu would put them first.

Too bad those critters had other plans: like try to attack the young woman from behind.

It was only by a split second but Yukiko jumped out of the way, tumbling into a wall. Without a second thought, she slipped on her TV World glasses and flipped open her fan.

"You're not getting away so easily...! Come forth!"

With a flash, Amaterasu appeared before the girl and sent out a good dosage of flames at the scorpions. But this was odd...why did she feel weaker from the last time she summoned her persona?

Hey, look who else had been heading back from his own incredibly stressful job today, to head home and get a nice nap! Yosuke! Unfortunately for him, however, these scorpions had far different ideas in mind for how Yosuke should be spending his time off of work...

For every one scorpion swarming a typical innocent bystander, Yosuke was being swarmed with ten, and they were all terribly vicious and big for bugs. When he hears Yukiko's voice, he's stupidly grateful to have found another teammate on the streets fighting these things with him, because he's not sure if he could take all of these alone...

"Yukiko, over here!!" Yosuke shouts loudly as Susano-o sweeps away a whole hoard of scorpions with a strong gust of Magarula. "I could use some help! I have no idea where these things came from!!"

Yosuke, thank goodness! Well, not that fighting giant bug critters is good but to see a friend there is good for everyone else in the area because it'll give them a higher chance to help out those who can't.

"I don't know either! Did you see that post made on the COMP?"

While she spoke, Amaterasu decided to release a Maragion on several of the scorpions behind the young woman.

Yosuke holds up his arms over his face to shield himself from the blast of heat that came from Yukiko's attack. Lucky for Yosuke, he's rather fire resistant. Thanks Susano-o.

The teen gives a shrug in Yukiko's direction. "I saw a few things about this when I was leaving work, I didn't realize it was happening all over the damn city. For some reason these things are chasing me, though, I don't even know why!"

He pulls the pair of kunai he keeps on him at all times out of his pockets and twirls them in his hands. "I think if we can make it back to the apartment building we can escape these things. Magarula!!"

Another massive gust of wind strikes some of the scorpions, but it's not enough to keep them from coming. "Damnit, these things have some thick skin, I don't know if physical attacks are gonna do much better."

As Amaterasu launched another attack, Yukiko jumped back from the impact. "It's like no matter what we do, more keep coming."

But he was right. The only way out of this was to head back to the apartments and wait until this blows over.

"They're distracted! Let's hurry!"

Yosuke nods and motions for her to hurry, wishing terribly that Susano-o hadn't lost his Masukukaja skill since coming here; they really could have used the speed boost. He sends another Magarula in the swarm of scorpions coming at them from ahead.

"Where the hell did these things even come from?? I know this city's crawling with monsters, but this seems ridiculous!" Ugh. "Yu left work before me, I hope he got through here alright. Nanako-chan's still by herself back home."

Minako has a whole host of concerns today, ranging from some of her senpai losing themselves to paranoia, to her brother staking out a crazy Velvet Attendant, to her friend being stalked by another crazy Visual Kei weirdo. But on top of that is that there are scorpions everywhere and being clear-headed and not especially attracted to them, she can't just leave the city to be overrun without helping.

A barrage of ice slams into the scorpions following Amaterasu's fire as a woman hovers over Minako, then disappears. Minako then runs closer to Yukiko.

"Are you all right?" The girl seems well able to handle her Persona, but it's polite to ask. Minako herself looks like a weird contrast of normal person and battle-hardened fighter, the regular street clothes not matching with the naginata she carries, or the Evoker holstered at her waist. There's also the SEES armband, for old times' sake.

Yukiko had to shield her face in case any of the ice decided to go within the area she was in. But it was good to see that someone else was in the area helping out. Lowering her arms, she looks at the other girl and sighed in relief.

"I'm fine, it's everything else I'm worried about."

That's when she noticed the Evoker on the other...wait, she didn't hear a gunshot earlier. Strange. But she didn't have enough time to focus on that small aspect because those scorpions were coming back.

"Watch out!"

This time, Amaterasu jumped in front of the girls and let out another fire attack at the fiends.

Minako drew the Evoker the instant Yukiko began her warning, but Amaterasu attacked first. The group of scorpions was reduced to a twitching, charred mess after the assault. With that in mind Minako decided to use the opening to buff. She summoned Quetzalcoatl and cast Marakukaja on both herself and Yukiko, boosting their defenses.

"It's like there's no end to them," she sighed, lowering the 'gun' and giving a distasteful glance at the scorpion's remains. No doubt several more would appear within the next few minutes.

She felt the boost and let out a sigh. "Is it due to what that guy said over the COMP?"

If so, Yukiko does not want to run into any Scorpios at this time. She's still worried that she doesn't feel at full strength.

Unfortunately, someone does arrive, wielding a black guitar case.

"Ladies," he says, his voice still recognizable, only the face covered by the mask. He grins at them, as the mass of Scorpions moves away from the path he is walking. Closer and closer to them...

"I know I know...you're both wondering who it is possible how beautiful I am? I'm so gorgeous it's a sin! That's right, an affront to man and God!"

"Comin' through!" is the only warning she gets before there's a thud that sends a bunch of the little scorpions flying. If she turns in the direction of the sounds, she will see a young angel wielding a club.

"!!!"

What...what the hell?! You she has never seen before. And that weapon was something alright. Enough for Yukiko to duck from the flying buggers.

"Be careful where you swing them!"

"Whu--oh!"

He supposes the pretty girl has a point.

"I can burn them instead!"

"No need to."

Yukiko watched as Amaterasu launched another Maragion on the group, burning them to a good crisp.

"Are you alright?"

[gforceinmyfaaaace]

"I'm fine," he replies. "Looks like you could use some help, though."

Which he could say for just about anyone. It's a swarm of little scorpion monsters. Who exactly will be able to fight them all on their own?

Yu, of course, was on help everyone possible mode as soon as the call came in after work. He was more concerned with getting home and making sure Nanako was well protected at the moment, but that didn't mean he wasn't going to stop for a friend in trouble.

A massive sparkling blast joined the flames, and whatever scorpions weren't burned were electrically fried by Izanagi as Yu casually strode up to stand beside Yukiko.

"Are you all right?"

Boy is she glad to see you, Narukami! These damn critters keep multiplying and she can't hit them all with her fire spells.

"I'm...fine. You're not hurt are you?"

"I'm fine."

The scorpions kept coming, and Yu barely had to blink for Izanagi to retaliate. Ziodyne was a good skill to have unlocked right now.

"You're not affected at all, are you?" he continued, the concern in his voice obvious.

"Affected? No, not to my knowledge."

You mean all those under a Scorpio and suddenly going crazy or others that might be very frightened? Thankfully none of those.

"We need to make sure everyone gets inside somewhere safe so these things won't get to them."

Yu nodded, though he did have other priorities...

"I need to check on Nanako. She should be home by now, but..."

...but big brother instincts are hard to fight. Just ask his Persona.

"...Come, Shikome."

That was the only warning before an undead priestess came to life, menacing and rotting grin hidden well behind the veil as the Persona lifted a hand. Black, shadow-like hands came from the darkness, dragging and crushing the scorpions as they reached out and then disappeared into the very shadows they had come from. Most of those they touched found themselves lying there dead, even as the user of this Yomotsu Shikome walked forward.

"I would be a little more careful if I were you." She smiled faintly, undaunted even though she knew her Persona's weakness well. "There is safety in numbers, after all..."

The first emotion Yukiko could pinpoint was that she was terrified. She had never seen that kind of persona before and what it did sent chills up her spine. Thankfully the user seemed to be on her side for now.

"Th-thank you."

She chuckles a little. Well now, that wasn't a complete surprise. However, did she not know who she was? Interesting. That would make two of those who had bested her...

"Oh, did Yomotsu Shikome startle you?" Her bad... she merely shrugs it off. If she was terrified of her Persona, then she couldn't help but wonder about her own true form. "My apologies then, miss."

"It's alright. I'm just thankful that you got them."

Oh gods, don't show her otherwise she will have a heart attack.

Not planning on it. She would have enough of a time finding out just how much she should be glad that this stranger is on her side this time around rather than against.

"Indeed... I would be worried if someone with malicious intent had her within their mind, as well." Because the hags of hell were certainly forces to be reckoned with. "Though, we may want to get to a more defensible position."

Girl, your time is not yet up. Also someone should probably find their friends.
