[Game Opening, Part 4 : Mission 5 - Taking down Twin Trouble]
Who: Naminé, Minato, Maya, Simon, Raidou, Sissel, Misery, Naoya Toudou, Kohta
Where: Middle of the E8 in Gemini; Power Plant
Summary: Gemini Mission
Warnings: Third Wise Men Appearance

When you arrive, the situation already looks dire; this is where the main explosion you heard in the city hall came from. There's a fire that needs to be put out and people rescued from the blaze on the left. To the right, the remaining part of the Power Plant is being attacked by a bunch of armed men.
The current police and firemen force assembled there is doing a commendable job, but it is clear they are overwhelmed. As your vehicles touch down, there is always a a barrage of fire sent your way. One of the army men comes close to your group contact you on the Government COMP Codec number and patches you in.
"There ain't much time! At this rate, the plant's gonna blow up in twenty minutes if the central area isn't cooled down. We need that fire put out, don't care how you do it, as long as it can't spread out even more!"
Another voice breaks in, although you can barely hear anything due to the static.
"....wise ma...tak.........hosta....went down alone........get him back..."
"Damn it, figures he'd go down by himself to stop this. I need a group on his ass ASAP. He'll be able to recover the power with you."
A few scientists are standing outside, being covered against the ask and they warn you that the explosion removed some of the gates keeping a horde of zombies being researched on from escaping. They might be everywhere.
Just be careful not to get infected.
Problem was, right now, you first had to be able to carve a path to yourself into the Power Plant.

[OOC: As with every log like this, you are free to start your own sub-thread and have your characters stop swarms of zombies on your own. Don't forget to write your character's Persona awakening as well!]

She vanishes at that moment. Literally. One minute she's there, the next she's not. Where did she go?

"My Persona had water magic before I was brought here. There's no reason it shouldn't now, right? It might not be enough, but it's a start -- especially if I pair it with Raidou's ice."
no subject
"We got a fire to put out."
no subject
"You've had a Persona before," he starts to ask, but then Raido's Jack Frost shows up, and that distracts him. "That's -- ... Jack Frost?"
no subject
She fixes her gaze on the flames, though something about the sight itself makes her stomach twist into knots. The feeling alone was almost enough to make her recoil, but she couldn't afford to do that now. They had an important mission, after all. She took a cleansing breath, forcing herself to remain focused on the blaze as she clenched one hand into a fist and laid it over her heart, before thrusting it forward, fingers splayed.
I am thou. Thou art I.
"Persona!"
The creature that emerged above her appeared inorganic in a way, the figure itself both feminine and partially obscured by the full robes that flared out around her legs, eyes hidden from view.
"Maia! Go!" Maya instructed, causing a deluge of water to put out the patch of flame nearest to them.
no subject
"That's enough - it's time to act - Mabufula!" The Devil Summoner cuts him off, pointing at the flames.
"Oh Ho... You got it!" The fairy creatur spins in place as three large balls of ice appear over sections of flames, the ice instantly melting from the heat, adding to the deluge. "Don't make me get too close, Raidou, ho!"
no subject
But he has a task. He hasn't quite found a way to reach his own persona yet, and given what he can sense through the blurry fuzz in his head, he's not sure it would help, anyway. The persona he thinks he hears never had any ice or water skills, and healing and hama wouldn't do anything helpful against fire, either. So he turns his attention from the flames to scan behind and around, looking for any enemies to pick off with his laser.

If you can peer through the smoke, you can see the source: a certain blue-haired
bwitch, chanting a spell which seems to be keeping an ENTIRE TRUCK CONTAINER LEVITATING IN THE AIR, dumping the last trickling bits of fluid. It vanishes again for a bit, along with her.

He grits his teeth and looks at the cleared section. He'll have words with her late. "Let's go!"
no subject
"Right! We have a lot of work ahead of us!" she agreed, starting towards the path they'd cleared. There would be more flames to douse up ahead, but fire be damned -- they seemed to be in good shape as far as dealing with it, even if it was one patch at a time.

"We should go find the device they use to keep this place cool first to buy some time."
oh hi I spaced out on this thread. ^^;
"I don't think looking for an air conditioner is going to help... We need to get the power on line first."
no subject
It is tiring, though. Hopefully, they can finish up this nonsense soon and take down the idiots who attacked the place in the first place.

A time like this Fuuka would be really helpful... But not everyone here (himself included) has awoken or reawoken their personas, so he won't be surprised if no one can scan. They'll make due if not...

Persona awakening in 3... 2...
She lands for a bit to rest. "Urgh. This is already proving to be quite an atrocious..."
Something cracks, right above her. She looks up to see a beam falling right on top of her.
"...night..."
Re: Persona awakening in 3... 2...
I am thou...
...and a strangely familiar voice echoed. I am thou...
The beam falls closer.
...Thou art I...
"...I... will... not... be stopped HERE!"
Her hand flings out, and a larger presence intercepts the beam. A strange-looking man, by all accounts, with orange skin, and what seems to be a congenial smile on his face, his eyes closed. Then his eyes open, and the glint of madness is readily apparent.
The beam is flung far away, seemingly disregarding any bystanders. Whether this is Misery's desire herself or not is hard to say; she seems to be rather in a state of shock, actually.
She whispers something, almost inaudibly. "...Uncle?"
no subject
"That's your Persona. It will protect you when you call it. ... we have to keep moving. Are you going to be okay?"
no subject
For a moment, she's tempted to try to shut it down, to push it back into the deepest part of her psyche before he destroys everything. And yet in spite of the glint in his eyes, he doesn't seem inclined to do anything she doesn't tell it to.
She ponders this, and then snorts, a slightly bitter chuckle. "How ironic," she mutters. The man whose power she attempted to control, who ended up leaving her in chains for years. And now she controlled him, in a way. Life truly has a twisted sense of humor.
"Don't worry about me. I'll be quite fine, thank you." She looks up at "Uncle," then back at everybody. "Well, what are we waiting for? Let's finish things up already, hmm?"
no subject
"Right. Let's get moving."
She glanced over her shoulder, frowning as a number of undead husks shambled along the ground that had been cleared of flames.
"Looks like we have company!"
no subject
He needs to focus... focus.
"Raiho - Freeze them!" He commands sharply. "You can go on ahead, I'll catch up soon enough."
