01 - Blizzard Samba
Who: Anant and OPEN
Where: Capricorn - Central Park at Night
Summary: Anant is sharpening their claws - literally - on the demon populace
Warnings: Violence obviously. I'll tone down on the gore, but I can get carried away, ahaha...
Anant had never really seen snow before. It was soft and powdery in some areas of the park, and they simply had to stop and kneel down in it, pushing their hands into the icy coldness and fluffing it up. Little snowflakes drifted down from the sky lazily as well, and Anant would be perfectly content to watch them, sitting in the snow all night if need be, utterly entranced.
But Anant had come here for a purpose, and that was For Exercise.
They were used to being in perpetual movement, in perpetual exercise, and being holed up in one city, bound inside the walls, they felt caged. They felt bottled up. They were unable to use up the power that purred inside of them, and It began to get snappish at them - so Anant went to use it up. The demon populace were allowed to be played with, so Anant chose them as their playmates.
Out in the snowy fields of Capricorn's park, you may see a masked figure wielding glowing, electrified golden gauntlets against a pack of Baihu. The snow had enticed the white furred tiger demons out into the open, and Anant quite enjoyed their lightning quick movements and bellowing roars. If Anant didn't like humans so much, powerful beasts like these would definitely be a close second!

Just sticking to backup like this ought to be safe, right?

So have a oversized tiger demon come charging towards you!

As the Baihu's claws raise in the air, his grip on the revolver tightens. Might as well try to do what he can to ensure the pain is a little less...

With a quick movement, he swept an arm in a grand gesture, sending the Baihu reeling back from a Cleave attack. Snapping out of his initial shock at the apparition, Hizumi takes the opportunity to put a fatal bullet through the Baihu's head, but he doesn't have the time to reward himself with the sight of its subsequent disappearance.
His eyes are instead on that golden-eyed man - that man who looks undeniably like Hizumi of age twenty-something. Seemingly sensing this, the man just gives a knowing smirk.
With those words echoing in Hizumi's head, the apparition vanishes as if he had never been there in the first place. But Hizumi knows that is not the case at all. Even now, in the back of his mind, he can sense it. That unmistakable presence...
Yaiba Mizushiro.
The shock has him stumbling back into the tree, his free hand resting on the bark for support as he tries to make sense of this new development.

Anant stared curiously at the space where Hizumi's persona had been, their head tilted to the side like a bird. In their grasp, the Baihu was writhing in pain, the golden gauntlets hissing and sizzling through the fur. With a grunt, the delusional god tossed the beast aside, and it fled immediately.
In fact, the group of Baihu retreated, their growls cautious and eyes wary, even if they lingered by the tree line. Anant deemed them neutralised for now, and dismissed the energy from his hands, the gauntlets vanishing with a crackle.
"How fascinating... so this must be the phenomenon of the Persona!" Anant said, practically skipping through the snow to Hizumi. "How do you feel? Any ill effects? Do you feel stronger? More enlightened?"
no subject
And how difficult that is, after a such a sight.
He takes a slow, deep breath. Calm. He must be calm.
"...No ill effects. Or at least... not from using the Persona itself. I can't tell if I feel any stronger right now," if anything, he feels weaker from the revelation, "...but there is a presence in the back of my mind. I can feel him there." He keeps his voice level, a lot like the voice he used back in school when reporting any scientific discoveries he'd made. Those days when he'd still dared to hope.

"Are you frightened? There is no need to be. From my understanding Persona are common phenomenon here, and are in fact beneficial, not harmful in any way."
no subject
It also opened up a whole lot of problems... Ones that he would have to address quickly before people had the opportunity to get ideas. It seemed that no matter how long he spent dead and buried, Yaiba continued to endeavor to make trouble. A devil indeed.
"...Hey, that Persona - did you notice anything, uh. Weird about it?" Like its near identical appearance to its owner, perhaps?
no subject
Yeah, Anant's not gonna noticed stuff like that. They see the world in a very...bizarre way.
no subject
"...Well, I don't know if it's unusual, but somehow or another, my Persona is... my brother." That was the story that had been carefully concocted for the few fortunate to be told anything, so it should suit his needs just fine in this scenario, too. "I definitely wasn't expecting it." He gives a small, nervous chuckle.
"Especially since... well, my brother from home is long dead." Which is probably for the best, everything considered. He shakes his head as though to banish the thought.
"But what did you mean? Mixed in... yellowish green?"
no subject
Ah- "Hm? Sorry? Oh, exactly as I said. Yellowish green. Splashes and smears, whirlwinds, sparks of crimson perhaps - did you not see it? I thought everyone sees it. How the world is, how the colours are the vibrant parts - it is why I like humanity! They are colourful, bursting of colour! Even now it is drifting over yourself, fluttering and..."
Anant makes a little swatting motion in the air, as if trying to grasp one of these 'colours'.
no subject
"So you... normally perceive colors swirling around people?"
no subject
Anant rubbed the bottom of his mask thoughtfully. "Bright colours are what I see, yes, as well as the world as it is normally. The emotions - passion, feelings, they are colours, yes? Muted or pastel, vivid and blinding, snapping and snarling or drifting like a haze... humans have such wide ranges of it, it is - beautiful to watch."
no subject
"It's not for certain, but I'm pretty sure the majority of humans see quite a bit differently from what you're describing."
This conversation is good, though. It's distracting him from more important matters like why that person is in his mind right now. "Do specific colors mean anything?"
no subject
"Of course. Red and all of its shades mean 'anger'. The paler it is, the, I presume the more mild versions of anger is being felt. I am still grasping the nuances of it. As I said, humans have so many emotions, all shifting and changing within moments. Even with this skill on my side, I cannot...
"Oh excuse me. Yes, yes red is anger, yellow is fear, green is happiness, and blue is sadness. The colours blend, of course, but I don't know what they mean when they do- Ah I forgot one another," Anant coughed, "Black. That is an emotion where the human becomes, strange..."
no subject
Though by that description, it seemed Anant had been picking up both fear and happiness from Yaiba's projection. Happiness on Yaiba's part, for existing once again, and fear on his part for what exactly Yaiba's existence implied? It could be hypothetically true.

"Rare, rare, thing. I have only truly seen it once. It was awful. Horrible. I do not want to speak of it."

"But I do believe that is enough exercise for me as well. I am hungry, so I shall get something to eat before resting."

Anant gave a jaunty little wave, hopping back a step before twirling around to face away from Hizumi. "Until we meet again! I do hope you feel better then."
