He hasn't seen that strange man anywhere. Granted, it was hard to look for him amid all the chaos that had erupted during the meeting, but he had looked. And he had asked. Nobody had seen him anywhere.

To say this was a problem would be putting it lightly. But he didn't have any other options at the moment beyond retreating to his quarters and calling it a night. All that fighting had worn him out, and he doubted he could phrase himself well if he talked to the man again.

So it's a very tired Link who's fumbling with the keys to his new apartment, on the verge of falling asleep against the door.

Link heard the fumbling outside of his door and peeked his head out, hair mussed from being under his cap all day. Oh! It was the other him!

"Having trouble?"

He's good at keys.

"...huh?" he asks sluggishly, looking at the other Link...sluggishly.

He heads out, and grabs the key out of his other self's hands, unlocking the door before handing it back.

"Are you okay?"

He shakes his head.

"I had a long night...but didn't everyone?"

"Um, I didn't, mean..." He rubs his eyes. How do you word when tired? "Did you...make it out that building okay?"

He perks up a little.

"... Yeah. It was really weird, people were doing weird things with their faces and their hands and the drinks smelled really funny and then there was fighting later and also Epona was there! Except not really she was a Persona thing but she was still there! And there was a weird guy who thought my idea with the Deku Nuts was dumb but other people thought it was smart. I thought it was smart too, that's why I came up with it."

Birds are neat. Not as neat as Epona though.

There's something about this guy.

He can't say what, exactly, since his brain is bogged down by the tired, but if he were more alert, maybe he'd note it for what was: this guy's acting awfully...immature.

"... Maybe you should get to bed though. You look like you're gonna fall asleep on the door."

Which would kind of suck. Especially because then he'd have to pick you up and put you to bed himself.

"It wouldn't have been the first time," he says dryly. "Um...I guess I'll talk to you later?"

He nods, smiling brightly. "Okay. Sleep tight. Don't let the Deku Babas bite!"
