Who: The Investigation Team and Nanako plus one death goddess.
Where: Yu and Nanako's apartment.
Summary: The IT celebrates Christmas together away from home... more or less.
Warnings: Yu trying to keep up his mission to bring a Green Christmas to Hinoto-ri. Horrible singing. lulz

It was a bit rushed and last minute -- and most of the work had to be done by other people because a certain grey haired leader was currently acting like an idiot -- but the apartment that Yu and Nanako shared was currently decked out for the winter holiday. Streamers hung around door frames and windows, and someone had even managed to bring in a little fake pine tree to be decorated.

There's also food, of course, though how good it is depends greatly on who cooked it. Taste with care, least you end up poisoned on Christmas.

It might not seem very festive at the moment, especially considering the current state (and presence) of certain individuals... but that will change at midnight at least.

Rise decided to ignore Yosuke's tone in honor of the holiday and the fact he'd actually come around. Dude was hard to track down in this city sometimes.

"Was that a volunteer I heard?" she asked, playfully. "Oh hey, Mays is open tonight, right? Do you get an employee discount there?"

...Don't mind her in the corner, then. She will simply sit back and chuckle while offering popcorn. And look, it's caramel!

"Hey, I wasn't volunteering!" But he doesn't see much point in arguing, and is actually going to grab his coat anyway. Mays, the only store in the whole town that's actually open on Christmas night. He feels stupidly glad that he wasn't being forced to work tonight, honestly.

"Does everyone wanna pitch in for the cake? It should only be like a thousand yen with the discount."

"I'll cover Yu-senpai's share. He's trying to save up," she said. "Also I don't want to untie his hands so he can get his wallet..."

"Yeah, good idea." And he doubted anyone was comfortable trying to get his wallet themselves... blech. "What kind of cake should I get? I'll get something big, obviously, should it be vanilla or chocolate or what?"

"Just buy a Christmas cake, senpai," Rise encouraged. "Ooh, but if there's a chocolate one, yeah, get that."

"Well, if they have any Christmas cakes left." He checks his COMP really quick for funds. He'll just ask people to transfer over some funds in return once he picks it up. "Chocolate it is then, for one Risette! Don't try to make any food while I'm gone."

And with that he's out the door.

It's a good half an hour before he returns, shivering from the snow that was falling from the sky at a rather heavy pace. There's a big chocolate cake in his hands. "Damn, it's freezing out there."
