Who: Aqua and everyone
Where: Varies; Capricorn District and Nyx's Nightclub being two of them.
Summary: Just your average nights as a worker... with a little training and a KH cast meeting on the side
Warnings: Spells that make things go boom in the last option. You have been warned.

Pisces Apartments 7-08, locked to KH cast
It wasn't long after seeing that notice on the network that Aqua took down the details and messaged the others before heading home early. Something about it was bothering her, though she did appreciate how this Suou was forthcoming with information. That would make it easier to come up with what to do or at least get on the same page with the others.

She began waiting for the others just outside her apartment, calming herself and going over the information in her mind. ...At least there's some hot chocolate ready.

Monday - Friday Nights; Capricorn District
It's almost funny how wandering in a dark area with possible danger everywhere was something she was far too used to at this point. At least it would be, but it's something consistent and she loved helping to protect others and maintain peace. As much as could be afforded.

Bother her?

Saturday-Sunday Nights; Nyx's Nightclub, Taurus District
If anyone had told her six years ago that she would be loving her job as a makeup artist at a club run by demons, she would have likely stared at them as though they spouted a second head. Though now it wasn't too far from the truth as she stood there in her... uniform. Oddly enough it isn't much less than what she normally wears, and the people she works with are... Okay no, she can't completely even think that.

Hat hiding her eyes somewhat, she still smiles faintly as she sets up her station. What? Did you think she was a dancer? Sorry, fanboys~ Only a makeup artist ~~unless someone sees her Lightbloom shotlock~~.

Afternoons, Capricorn or otherwise
Well, she was going to be entering the tournament when signups became available. Might as well practice while she could before having to work, right? Aqua was being discreet about it though, making sure no one was around when she began practicing not just with Eudora or Tatsu Blaze, but her strongest spells if it came down to it.

Which is why she was in Capricorn; the small forest and vast plain were perfect for practicing without hurting anyone who could accidentally stumble across her. Not to mention negate a lot of property damage. She was not here to cause the destruction of city property, after all. Her job patrolling here at night at least gave her some familiarity with the area, too.

Of course, it didn't stop her from practicing elsewhere with the more minor skills. ...Bother? Be brave enough to sit from a safe distance to gawk/enjoy popcorn/whathaveyou?

...She was beginning to miss her home castle, either way.

Not going to lie, but Aqua most certainly heard that Magarula above the noise and din that she was making with her own spells.It tipped her off way before Eudora mentally tapped her on the shoulder to say that yes, it certainly was a thing. Or had she been and Aqua just hadn't paid attention? Either way, she noticed now, and was working on focusing her shots where she could sense movement in the air away from where that vaguely familiar Heart was.

It was almost funny when Eudora's crossbow and her own pointed away from Yosuke and to a tree when Eudora used Dream Needle.

"Well, I normally work here at night... but I thought I might as well get in a little practice, you know?"

She smiles faintly, fixing her sunglasses as she lowers her metal bow. Strange, it almost looked to be the same texture and color as her key-shaped blade.

"I guess the small forest here is a little popular for people who want to practice without causing property damage."

Yosuke pulls his headphones off and adjusts his own glasses. "Yeah this district is more out of the way than the other ones, though I think I'm gonna try fighting some of the demons that come out when night hits." He looks at her Persona curiously. So that's what it looked like.

"Are you entering the tournament too? We could practice together, if you want. I've never actually fought another Persona user before, but I did use Susano-o back in my own world a lot against monsters called Shadows." Yosuke twirls the kunai on his hands almost playfully as he grins at her. "I could use some fighting practice, too. It's been a while since I went regularly training with my team."

"Mm. It almost reminds me of home, actually." Though that bit of a mysterious smile said a bit more than her words, even though fleeting when he said he wanted to try and fight them. "You know if you do that I'm going to have to watch, right? I do patrol this area and have to make sure no one gets hurt."

Meaning it would not be for fun and games, but actual combat and survival mode. She always was a duty-before-feelings kind of woman. Still, that didn't answer his question.

"Looking to, though me and Eudora still need to work on a few things..." Like pick up a third physical attack. ...Hopefully. Unless she trained up Tatsu Blaze, which was going to end up a necessity at this point just for variety and not having to dance around the battlefield.

"Can't say I've fought against another Persona user, but I have fought others before." She wasn't going to mention Heartless and Unversed just yet; that could come later. After some teasing. "I'd be happy to help, if you think you can keep up."

"Huh, this place isn't really like anywhere around my town. We didn't have any big forests or parks or anything, it was mostly open fields and hills." Couldn't get any emptier than Yasoinaba. Yosuke gives her a bit of a look when she mentions having to watch over him, though. "I'm not a kid, I can take care of myself against these things... How about instead of watching you fight with me sometime instead? I might bring along my other friends who are training for the tournament too." Yosuke always did do best in teams, though one-on-one wasn't too difficult.

He grins at her agreement to train with him, and twirls his kunai some more. "I can keep up just fine." If there's one thing he had in him, it was agility. "You Persona isn't weak to wind, is it? I'd rather not hit your weakness if I can help it, it's kind of a cheap shot. Mine's weak to Electricity."

"We used to live in the mountains. All we had were summits, forests, and a few fields to play in." Couldn't get any more wild than a place on the edge between two realms than the Land of Departure unless you preferred the jungle. She smiles at the look, laughing under her breath. "Eudora's best at Support, and most of my spells are widespread."

Aqua's stance seemed to change as he admitted that. "Sure you want to tell me that? It means I won't have to scan you if we end up fighting in the tournament, you know." Her words are nonsensical, but filled with concern for him. Not that he had anything to worry about; she didn't have a Persona with Electric attacks, only her own spells which weren't allowed in tournament rules. "She is, but don't worry. If anything, I'm good at dodging."

Her crossbow suddenly transformed from the bow to the... key... thing as she pressed the small button on her sleeve, causing the armor (save helmet; she kind of needed to fix that still) she found in her apartment when she first arrived to be activated. Welp. At least she was prepared? And Aqua was already in her fighting stance as Eudora floated behind her.

"You don't have to worry about hurting me too badly, Yosuke."

"I'll be fine, if I do face off with someone who has electric elements who isn't weak to wind, I'm screwed anyway. I don't care if you know about my Persona right now anyway." Though Susano-o has Dodge Lightning, which really meant he was slightly less screwed than one would think. "Can you really fight with a Support Persona? Then again I guess my buddy Ted had support skills but his Persona was still geared towards battle." He'd never seen Rise fight before.

Taking a deep breath, Yosuke follows her motions when she gets into a fighting stance, coiling up his own body to charge. Though he is completely caught off guard by the armor that suddenly appears on her body, and blinks in surprise. "Wow, damn, you're really prepared for this. Why don't you go easy on me, I may be durable but I'm still just human!" He grins at her and stands his ground defensively. "Are we gonna do this taking turns like in the tournament then? We don't have those... Evoker things, though."

"Well, that makes two of us." She smiles at that, glad he's confident enough to try and fight regardless. "Mm. We know a couple moves, and besides.. there's always a Persona from the Velvet Room. ...Ted a friend of yours?"

Funny how she was so easygoing about something like that. "Don't worry. This is more to protect me from your wind skills than to attack you with." She winks, nodding. "What, you need one?"

Oh, now she's just provoking you.

"That's true." He laughs a little. "Tch, Teddie's more like my little brother at this point, but yeah. He used to be our support in battle before he got a Persona and our friend Rise became our new support."

Yosuke nods to the reason for her armor. He really doesn't want to damage her, not in the middle of training. The more defense she's got, the better, especially with Wind Amp up his sleeve. He rolls his eyes at her last comment though.

"No, I've never even used one before. I don't know why they make us use them in battles, or why they don't at least give us practice ones." From what he could tell, summoning with an Evoker felt a lot different than summoning using a card, he wasn't sure how he was going to handle it as a first time thing in battle.

Taking a deep breath, the Magician card appears in front of him, and he breaks it using his kunai, summoning Susano-o before him.

"Why don't you go first?"

"I see." She'll likely ask about Rise later, but that is for later. For now, though... she was going to focus on the sparring rather than the rest. "Maybe it's for those of us who hadn't Awakened before coming here? I know it took me a couple months of practice to be able to summon without stressing myself out, and I'm skilled with magic."

...The card trick is different, but she doesn't pay it much mind. Though she will admit it's neat.

"Come forth, Eudora." Instead she holds out her free hand as Eudora appears behind her. The scanning mask turns into a crossbow like Aqua's own, shooting at him once with Dream Needle.

[ Dream Needle (Inflicts a small amount of Physical damage with a 10% chance of Sleep on one enemy) ]

[ Rolled to see if Sleep worked, and it missed, if that's okay. ]

Susano-o takes the hit and Yosuke takes a deep breath as he's damaged. It's nothing he can't handle, though, and he's ready with his own counter attack. Instead of heading in with brute force, he's going to practice some tactics.

"Susano-o, Tentarafoo!!" Susano-o attacks though the damage isn't physical, instead casting a cloud of confusion.

[ 30% chance of confusion. ]

[ Totes fine. Also missed. ]

Eudora took the hit as well, and while she wasn't affected, it did cause Aqua to blink once. Weird. That felt like the Confuse skill that tried and fizzled out. Least she knew what that could do, now.

"Malaqua." Eudora attacks again, as the water rises from nowhere to soak Susano-o. It's probably obvious she doesn't have much in the attacks department. Another reason why she was likely going to have to attack directly at some point.

Yosuke grunts as the water hits Susano-o, and he's getting terribly reminded of the fight against that Scorpion creature with its water attacks. He holds his ground, though, and Susano-o recovers quickly. Tentarafoo hadn't hit, frustratingly enough. One more time, one more try to see if he can get it to stick. Come on, Susano-o, your luck may not be all that great but he needs it right now!

"Tentarafoo!"

If it fails again, he'll switch tactics.

Well Yosuke, failed again.

This time, however, it's Aqua who decided it was time to attack on her own. For some reason using her Persona left her more tired than her own magic skills, but all the same, she transformed her key back into a sort of bow and pulled an invisible string of magic, letting a light arrow fly toward Susano-o.

She was changing tactics as well, trying to keep him on his toes.

"Damnit," Yosuke murmurs to himself as Tentarafoo misses again. When she attacks Susano-o, Yosuke takes a few staggering steps backwards. His endurance using Peronas was a little bit better, considering he'd gone countless battles in dungeons before. (And let's not mention how they one-shot Heaven.)

While it's damaging, he's still standing his ground for the time being. Any heavier damage and he'll heal himself up.

"Cruel Attack!!" Susano-o kicks the ring around his body away and straight into Eudora.

Okay yeah, Aqua winced as that one hit Eudora, staggering as well before falling to one knee. How embarrassing for someone who a strong level of endurance. At least, in the realm outside of Persona use. She definitely did not have as much experience as Yosuke in this kind of a battle, but she would abide by the rules.

Just don't mention how she marathoned fights to the death with Xehanort and Vanitas, Braig, and Ventus-Vanitas in one night while someone earns a free shot.

Yosuke's eyes widen and he grins as the advantage falls to him, even without using Garudyne. Noticing that she's been downed, he sends out Susano-o with Cruel Attack a second time, not letting up on her for a second.

...This was karma, wasn't it.

She winced again as she began seeing stars, even though it... didn't really hurt much? Ugh, she was going to send the the whole karma and irony thing through the window with that asscape-wearing jerk the next time she saw him.

Not quite finished yet with his attack streak, he twirls his kunai in his hand and moves past Susano-o, giving a swift and powerful double cut to Eudora. He's panting heavily from the attacks as he backs off again, but he's really only just starting to work up a sweat, still jumping on his feet.

"Hey, you alright? I'll let up on you, if it's too much." He doesn't want to hurt Aqua, and he definitely wants her to get a chance to come after him, too.

Ow ow ow ow ow. She stands up again, shaking her head. Yet for some reason, she isn't frowning... Instead, there's a faint smirk crossing her lips.

"Don't worry about me; I let my guard down." She readied herself, holding out her hand as Eudora used Dream Needle again. One more attempt at sleep, and if that failed, then she was going to definitely change the pace. She may not be as physically strong as her brother, but she did know some of the same moves.

Yosuke gets hit by Dream Needle again, the attacks starting to wear him down, though he doesn't fall asleep from the attack. Breath heavily, Yosuke looks at Susano-o with determination.

"Mediarama." A healing light washes over him and restores him to energy, bouncing on his feet. He's ready for whatever punches she has to throw. "You know, this is a lot of fun!!" Yosuke's just grinning away, glad to see that she isn't quitting yet.

"Cheater," she teased. But then, she has a lot more endurance than he does when it comes to taking blows. Aqua doesn't mind though, but she does smile a bit.

It takes a lot for her to give up.

"Don't get too cocky, now!" She managed to wink as she flipped around on one hand, using the momentum to close the distance and strike. Aqua jumps in the air with the spring the cartwheel gave, using the height to add a little extra damage as she slams down on Susano-o with the blunt end of her Keyblade.

[ Roll two D-10; > 4 = hit after initial strike. ]

"Hey, I can heal you too when this is over!" he shot back, giving a shameless shrug.

The initial strike of her keyblade was pretty rough, but the follow up strikes sent him reeling backwards, his Persona disappearing as he fell to the ground, wincing in pain. "Agh... geeze." Good job Aqua, you critical hit him ~~in the nads~~

"I don't think I'll be needing it." Really, she won't. Still, she regrets nothing about the strikes because hey, didn't do anything but critical hit him.

At least at first, because when his Persona was sent back, uh... guess where her momentum landed her?

Yep. On a tree branch. It's a thing and Eudora she can hear you laughing in her head, stop that!

"Ow..."

Well, that's what they get for sparring in the forest, she guess...es...

What was that creaking sound. It did not sound g-

Oh crap her Malaqua skill didn't hit the tree earlier, did it? Because it's kind of covered in snow and ice and oh shit the tree branch is cracking time to get off of it.

...and wind up buried in snow. Again.

"I think I'm sensing a pattern..."

At least he has some ice for that?

Yosuke watches her as she goes crashing into the tree and laughs in amusement as she's once more buried in the snow. Is all of their meetings going to end like this?

He slowly manages to get himself to his feet before he goes over to Aqua and starts digging her out, offering her his hand. "Hey, why don't we take a break? That was pretty awesome, I think we can take five."

Ah ah ah, not so fast... Someone is thinking that as though they are going to be coming out of this scott-free. Because the moment her face is clear of the snow?

there is a wind spell that would barely make him blink at the sudden gust. Though the snow does go everywhere ~~wait why are her comm glasses on~~...

"Sure you don't want a rematch instead?" Yep. Now she's just teasing him.
