Where: Iwatodai Dorm, in the Libra Ward
Summary: On January 31st, SEES & co. move into their dorm, which appeared here with the other buildings earlier in the month. This post also serves as something akin to the apartment log for anyone wanting to visit any of the P3 cast..!
Warnings: There may be spoilers for Persona 3, but I think the statute of limitations is up on that one. It's a dormitory, and some of the people in it are dating... Also they're teenagers, so shenanigans happen.

January 31st. It is an auspicious day to move into the dorm, but in a way perhaps it's fitting. January 31st had been an end and a beginning for most of them here - moreso than any new year. But this is a different January 31st, and the world is in no danger of ending tonight, so what better time to move than this?

Thus the dorm - left quiet for a week or two - is now bustling with activity as everyone works together to clean it and move their things and get everything set up to be home again! (Maybe they might even order some celebratory sushi when they're done!)

[NOPE.

Mitsuru's got no time to watch awkward home movies (lest she remember and be eternally embarrassed for that mishap in Junpei's room), although she does raise an eyebrow at it. Maybe she can watch them later, when there's time.

Right now, she's just running diagnostics on the system of the console. She's no Fuuka, but she's used it before, and it might come in handy in the future.]

[Minako's wandered up here to... check on stuff. See what was brought with the dorm and what disappeared, maybe figure out what to do with Ikutsuki's old office. Because there's no point leaving that locked anymore, and the dorm belongs to them, not the school.

There's also seeing if the camera equipment is still eavesdropping, but it looks like Mitsuru is already doing that...]

She wheels around the chair to face the other girl, a small smile coming to her lips. There's... an extra room on the girls floor which she's curious about, but that can wait for later.]

Good afternoon, Arisato. Have you managed to move in alright?

Yeah! There wasn't that much, but Minato helped out. What about you?

[she doesn't know how much of Mitsuru's elegant furniture had wound up in her Hinoto-ri apartment and had to be carried back...]

I took my necessities with me. The rest, mostly the furniture, can be moved in at a later date. There's no need to rush when you're coming back to a familiar space.

[You know, after she wrangles ~~AKIHIKO~~ some boys into helping her move the big stuff.]

That's true. We aren't really on any kind of deadline.

Yes, it's certainly helpful in that regard. Though I have to wonder about the expenses now, since this can't possibly be run by the school now.

That's a good point. But since we're all living here, I'm sure everyone will be willing to contribute something for the rent. Minato and I have jobs, at least.

[And SEES isn't made up of lazy freeloaders. Well, at least not without Junpei here? ...And then there's Ryoji...

Well, she's been a little nervous to hand them out. A big company like Kirijo might mean nothing here, and she doesn't have a lot of experience out in the 'real world' like many other teenagers do.]

...That's two less to worry about. I think I'll try to discuss with Akihiko. Perhaps I can entrust Shinjiro to you?

[If anyone could get hired in an instant, it's Mitsuru. That doesn't make it simpler to actually go through with it, though.]

[ Minato wanders up here at some point, while he's just poking around, re-familiarizing himself with this place and -- he's a bit surprised to find someone else up here. But he certainly has no objections to running into her here, so he wanders on over, peering at the console. ]

[She smiles over easily while the screen doesn't seem to telling much. The diagnostic program seems to be a little stuck right now.]

Not that I can tell so far, but the process is taking a while. I thought I'd check to see how well the programs work here.

Hm. Did they get scrambled in the move?

I don't they did, but the function and programs might work differently here, given that the Shadows and scanning processes aren't the same as they were at the Island.

[That and she's always noticed some odd video files in the database. Hmmm, make she needs to check those out as well.]

[ Oh no oh no... not the odd video files--! ]

I see. ... um, while you're getting it to work, would it be possible to modify some of the old functions to work differently here or disable some of them?

[ He's thinking of the cameras in every room.... ]

[She's blinking at him, not quite getting it. Or thinking about where those video files came from.]

The surveillance ones... I don't think we need to run the cameras in all the rooms here...

They're for security purposes, Arisato. I'd rather not disable them in the case that an intruder breaks into the dorm again in the future.

[Yeah, she's... not really getting it. As usual, she's thinking too practically again.]

It's... pretty intrusive to have a camera in your bedroom, though. Do you really want a camera recording you while you get dressed or while you sleep?
