Tapper's! - Open to all

Summary: Log for anybody who'd like to RP random scenes at this location. If you want to start a thread with Vanellope or one of the twins, say so in your subject. If not, leave it open and anybody in-game who wants to tag you can do so. Those who'd like to provide entertainment (giving a concert, stand-up, etc.) are welcome to make a thread for any performances. Back tagging here is more than welcome!

While in the Cancer Ward, you might have noticed there's a new bar in town! If curiosity gets the better of you, you step inside the establishment where you're greeted cheerfully. Was that a ghost? No, look down.

There she is.

That's Vanellope von Schweetz, the unlikely nine-year old proprietor of this restaurant. She's wearing a little white apron with the sleeves of her turquoise hoodie rolled up tight around her upper arms. Of course, you probably assume that one of the two tall demons with their hair pulled back into ponytails is really the owner of this place. Silly kids, right?

But no need to dwell on that detail. The smell of meat and hot grease wafts around the room, and the root beer's always flowing. So take a seat, glance at the menu, and place your order; one of the 'twins' will be with you to serve you shortly!

"I'll have a small root beer."

Nano smiles, taking a seat at one of the tables and looking around curiously at the decor.

"One small root beer please!" Vanellope scribbles on a little notepad and places the order in front of Cu Chulainn and Tam Lin, even though they were standing right there the whole time. In fact, Tam Lin's already on top of it, and slides a frost mug of root beer down the counter to Nano.

"Ah...!"

Nano's never been to a place that serves the drinks like that before, and she fumbles for the glass as it slides toward her. She very nearly misses it, but manages to stop it by sort of lunging mostly on top of it. Some of the soda spills out and onto her shirt, but at least the glass isn't broken.

"Good catch!" Vanellope cheers for Nano. "You caught it with your whole upper body!"

She's not mean to a paying customer though, and pushes the napkin dispenser close to her.

Nano laughs, her cheeks flushing a bit in embarrassment as she reaches for the napkins.

"Thank you... I'm sorry, I've never had a drink served to me in that way before!"

She's more used to Japanese tea serving customs, which are decidedly slower than the way Tapper's does things.

"You'll get the hang of it! I gotta do it like Tapper does it, or this place isn't Tapper's!"

"Is the food served that way too?" Nano muses, finishing cleaning herself off before taking a sip.

Vanellope scratches the back of her neck. "Well, we tried it. But burgers and fries just don't slide very well." She laughs nervously for a few seconds. They did it earlier with a Hinoto-Ri citizen and...made a mess of him. Darn you, friction.

"I can see how that would cause problems..." Nano admits, laughing a little. "The root beer is very good, though! I think you'll get a lot of customers."

"Alright! I knew this wouldn't be tough! I'll be rolling in coins before you know it!" And then she can buy candy, which she still firmly believes should be free to all seeing as how it is a naturally occurring substance back home.

"Good luck!" Nano offers, nodding back with a smile. "You're certainly off to a good start here."
