In the midnight hour [Open]
Who:Eiji and open
Where: Scorpio District
Summary: Battling some Shadows, getting some grinding in.
Warnings: None.
The 13th Hour, Scorpio District -- Today, Eiji was going to scope out these Shadow monsters that apparently came out at night and forced the city to go into lockdown. He rarely stayed out this late, of course, but it was still weird to see everyone just packing up and closing their doors at a time when movie theaters, clubs, and the like should still be open.
Actually, it was a little eerie, too. Seriously, no one was around. He looked at his watch. 11:58. 11:59.
12:00.
Was that a sound? The slithering, sneaking, suspicious sound of something heavy being dragged along paved stone?
Eiji snapped his medals into the OOO Driver, just in case; the belt's voice echoed loudly in the now-quiet night air.
"Taka! Tora! Batta!"
"♪ TaToBa TaToBa TaToBa ♪" it sang.
A moment or two later, Eiji stood in the gloomy light of a nearby streetlamp, fully transformed. But sheesh, it was still kinda creepy around here. He almost felt like he needed a fedora or whatever, just to match the mood.
Something moved out from the shadows pooled at the end of the street. Something clearly not human. But not Imagin or Yummy or Greeed, either. Was this one of the Shadows? It looked like some kind of black ooze with a human mask on it. And it was oozing toward him, so he figured it was now or never.
He activated his tiger claws, snapping the long weapons into place over his fists, then charged. Time to find out what these guys were made of! P.S. Medals would be nice.

"HENSHIN!"
And within a matter of seconds, a blue piller of light from the sky came down and cloaked Ryuusei. After, The light had turned into a burning ball surrounding him, resembling a meteor, and the took to the sky. He wanted to get a better view of a city, search for anyone else that's on the street at this ungodly hour. In his search he found something that piqued his interest, and that's to say the least. "That's....a Kamen Rider?!?"
Ryuusei wasted no time, he dove down with great speed and crashed down between the Rider and the strange creatures.
The meteor dispersed and forced back some of the creatures and revealed Ryuusei, clad in black and blue armor. "Kamen Rider Meteor. Your fates, are mine to decide." He says as he does this. He crouches down into a low menacing stance ready to strike.

In his astonishment, he almost got himself tackled by one of the Shadows, but managed to duck out of the way just in time. The green piping running down his legs glowed brightly for a moment, bending their shape until they more closely resembled the springing legs of an insect. He delivered a powerful kick to the attacking Shadow, sending it reeling backwards across the stone pavement.
Okay, maybe it wasn't best to have conversations while he was fighting, but. Another Kamen Rider! Maybe there were more of them around than he'd thought!

"We'll talk later. Let's deal with these guys first." He holds his right hand up and flips one of the levers on the Meteor Galaxy. "SATURN, READY? OK, SATURN!" A miniature version of the planet Saturn appears on Ryuusei's right hand and with a quick swing of his arm, the ring on the planet flies destroying the two Shadows that are piled on one another.

Anyway, Eiji didn't recognize this Meteor guy's voice, so it probably wasn't anyone he knew already. And he was pretty sure President Kougami wouldn't have been able to resist introducing a new Kamen Rider if he'd had one waiting in the wings. So this guy had to be like Shoutarou and the others: unrelated to OOO.
Eiji gave a cluster of Shadows a powerful swipe with his claws, sending bright flares of destructive energy at them from a distance. So far, this wasn't too bad, so he assumed police forces with that Persona power could deal with Shadows on their own. Maybe there were bigger, tougher Shadows out there? Kind of like the Yummies and the Greeed. One with a popsicle stick in the middle.
Oh, right. He should try out his Persona again, shouldn't he? Eiji launched himself in the air again, aiming a powerful kick at the nearest Shadow.
"Seiya!" A large black bird appeared in the air beside him, cawing loudly as it spread its wings. Bright light suffused the area, taking with it about 1/5th of the collected Shadows in the area.
Well, he wouldn't rely on that skill to save lives or anything, but it was pretty useful when no one's life hung in the balance.

He pulled back the Saturn lever and flipped the Jupiter lever. "JUPITER, READY? OK JUPITER!" Like the last attack, the planet Jupiter manifested on his right hand. The planet was as big as the body of a full grown adult, and Ryuusei could swing it around like it was made of cardboard, and he did just that. He crouched into a combat stance and from out of nowhere, three flying weasels appeared and started to fly around him.
"Kamaitachi! Let's go!" He charged forward into a group of shadows and slammed the planet into the ground, sending the shadows into the air. The three weasels dashed for the shadows their claws out, and they darted between the shadows, slashing them all the while. Within seconds most of the group had been dispatched, the ones that survived that onslaught were either injured or dying.
The three weasels returned to Ryuusei and began to circle around him again. "Not bad."

"Triple Scanning Charge!"
"Seiya!" He charged at the remaining Shadows, aiming a wide slash in their general direction. For a moment, it appeared as though he'd cut right through them -- and directly into the buildings behind them. But after a split second, the rest of the scenery resolved into its undestroyed state, leaving the Shadows to dissolve into clouds of inky darkness that quickly dispersed into the air.
Eiji leaned the flat of his sword against his shoulder, looking around, but there didn't seem to be any stragglers.
