Who: Miyako, OPEN
Where: Virgo District
Summary: While exploring the city, Miyako’s looks got noticed by certain people.

After getting her apartment and ID, Miyako has been exploring the various districts each day in person. If she’s stuck in this world for the time being, it would be best for her to be familiar with the city’s layout, features and citizens. It’s far more productive than sitting in her apartment and being left to her thoughts over what happened prior to her arrival.

In the Virgo District, she walked past all of the stores selling Valentine’s Day stock for the clothing store. With just her JP’s chief uniform, Miyako knew she need other clothes in case her uniform need to get washed. It would be a relatively quiet time, if only...

“Won’t you please consider?”

“No, and that’s final. Don’t you dare ask me again.”

With a cold, firm and frankly annoyed tone, Miyako declined the man’s offer yet again and walked away from him. Whatever he offered to her, she didn’t seem to like it very much.

To anyone who might know Yamato, it would be easy to mistaken Miyako for her brother if they approach her. Until they hear her voice. She no longer has a reason to keep pretending to be Yamato, so Miyako has been using her natural voice, low pitched but distinctly feminine, more often.

Now to continue looking around and see what she needed to buy. And hoping her clear answer stopped that man from asking her again. Or following her.

Miyako nods, her eyes browsing the clothes selection slowly.

"As long it fits and won't impede my movements." Especially when she's a swordsman.

Aoi had begun checking out a hoodie - she remembered that Komaki sometimes wore something similar when they were in casual wear - but at Miyako's words, she dismisses it. It looks a little thick, and that extra fabric would probably get in the way if someone were trying to wield a proper weapon.

"In that case, something that isn't too loose might be a little more..." Without quite finishing her thought, she steps towards a rack of neatly folded shirts. They are all long-sleeved and available in a variety of colors with a simple design on them, but most importantly - they are meant to be comfortable whilst exercising. "What about these?"

Especially when Miyako is carrying her sword with her. It's obvious enough to anyone that she can use it well.

Miyako steps closer and looks at the rack of shirts. She ignores the brighter colours, her eyes settling on the more darker and subdued ones. She pull out a dark blue one.

"...These are acceptable."

"You'll need something warmer for walking around outdoors during this weather, too." She drifts over to some hangers with sweat jackets, mostly intended for running. "These look so thin, though..."

"Particularly during the day..." Her JP's jacket can be used for more official business, even if she have no desire to establish JP's here. It's made of durable material, fit for battle and not for a normal life.

Miyako stepped closer to Aoi, looking at the sweat jackets. "Are they?"

"We might have to ask the clerk. It might be able to contain heat, but I can't be sure..."

"Let's ask them." And off to find the ~~poor~~ clerk.

The clerk is an underpaid retail worker who looks like she's about college-age. She doesn't look too enthused.

Ask away, Miyako.

"How well can these shirts contain the heat?"

Yep, just asking right out.

And in response, she gets a blank stare. "Uhh... Alright, I guess? It's for running in."

Seems they've got the part-timer who is not particularly invested in her job.

How utterly useless.

Without bothering to say "thank you", Miyako returned back to Aoi.

And Aoi looks up curiously at Miyako's return. "Well? Will you be able to use it?"

"Yes. If they turn out to be useless, I'll just get new ones." Miyako will be careful, since she's working under a smaller budget than she used to.

"I think it may be possible to return it as well, but I am not very clear on that policy." Komaki had mentioned it several times in the past, but due to the disconnect... Aoi is not actually that familiar with it, whoops.

"Return it, or give it to someone else." At least someone will use it, either way.

"That is also possible. I'm sure there are people out there who could use an extra jacket during times like these." Because helping others out is good!

"Were there any other pieces that caught your eye?"

"Hm..." Miyako continued to browse the selection. The only things she picked out was darker coloured clothes, or non-bright ones. She would need shirts, pants, socks and underwear.

Particularly sports bras.
