Memories are blurred... A late intro!
Who: Yuzuru Otonashi & OPEN to everyone!
Where: Aquarius -- not that he knows where he is, gosh.
Summary: Hi, Hinoto-ri! ... Otonashi's body hurts and what is this.
Warnings: Blood, injuries... and maybe swearing? Just to be safe on that last one.
__
Waking up in a new, strange location and being fed information in the form of an figurative text wall is not new to Otonashi. The only word that really sticks with him, of course, is Persona. What that word encompasses, what it actually means is lost on him right now, and the confusion is enough to make him bristle with frustration.
The first thing you might notice about him is the torn up uniform. Then maybe the blood, from a distance, or the hobble in his steps and the near-stumbling: he's wounded. Gunshot wounds are evident. Up close, panic is visible on his face.
[ a ] If you are wandering around the Aquarius region where he finds himself, you might face a confused redheaded teenager flagging you down. He might even be more brash than usual; he doesn't handle confusion and change too well.
-or-
[ b ] Maybe he has given up on moving for the time being. Instead, he's trying to catch his breath and get by with makeshift bandages, made with love from the remainder of his uniform. At least he seems to know what he's doing..?
(ooc: I'm pretty late to the party as usual, so I hope an intro post is okay!)

...You don't remember?
[He could distinctly remember Naoi and Yuri returning without him. He'd wanted to go see how Otonashi was doing, but Yuri wouldn't have it. Later on, they went fishing and Otonashi seemed... distant and a little odd, but mostly fine.]
Ph...ilemon? [That sounds like a Poketto Monsutā to him... but no, he doesn't seem to remember that particular part of the dream.]

Everyone must make it out okay then... I'm glad. [ It's comforting to know his disappearance wouldn't cause a disruption. Or did time just not move? But if Hinata remembered all of that, surely Otonashi doesn't have much more to say.
Universe differences don't occur to him. ]
P-Philemon... the, ahh... the man in the mask. That wasn't only in my dream, was it..?
no subject
Of course everyone made it out okay! It's not like we could die, haha... [Speaking of which...] How long have you been injured, Otonashi-kun..? [Shouldn't it have healed by now..?]
Ah! The masked guy? [He had fuzzy memories of Persona and some masked guy telling him about it. What else had the mysterious Philemon said? He couldn't say.] We must have... had the same dream... [Oh. Awkward. They won't be sharing dreams often will they?]
Ah... let's look around for something to patch you up with. Your shirt is a mess...
[He turned around, scanning the cityscape.] It looks like the afterlife must have leveled up... Where do you suppose we can get bandages? [No, he can't remember. Cut the boy some slack, he's been dead for several years.]

[ He wavers, clearly not feeling well as time goes on. Wounds definitely do not work the way they did back home. ] A-ahh... yeah, that's it, but...
I-I don't understand..! What is all this..?! [ He's starting to tirade about the weird and nonsensical, true to form. Otonashi wasn't exactly accepting of the afterlife either... then Hinata's question catches him off guard. It takes him a long time to answer; the adrenaline rush is dying down. Bloodloss delirium ahoy. ]
The... NPCs. Naoi's hypnotized NPC― Oh... were you asking―? Ahhh. No... I don't know how long I've been here.

It all turned out fine! You don't remember running over and punching him? I would have done the same thing if my legs had been working...
[Otonashi's disjointed words are nothing if not confusing, so Hinata simply moves to his side, intent on supporting him so he doesn't faint. Hinata grabs the arm that looks the least damaged, draping it over his own shoulders, his other arm going to wrap around Otonashi's ribcage. He figures passing out on the sidewalk isn't going to help what appear to be gunshot wounds.] Come on..! Let's find you some gauze or something...
[He drags the redhead along, trying to support most of his weight. He stops one of the locals, asking where he can find bandages for his friend, getting pointed in the direction of the aerial tramway.]
Ah... They said there's a hospital we can get to by getting on that thing. [He jerks his head in the direction of a large cage full of people passing overhead.] Do you... want to do that?
no subject
[ He looks up to the caged cart in the air, reliant on Hinata for support at this point. It's for the best that he not overtax his legs and keeping his arm upright is helpful for pain and bleeding, but it's still a point of visible frustration. ]
Yeah... I'll go. I'll meet you back... somewhere? [ Implying that he doesn't intend to drag Hinata to the hospital. People seldom spent time with fallen or injured comrades in the afterlife, so... why would this be different? ]
no subject
You're not meeting me anywhere, I'm going with you..!
[With some difficulty, he heaves the redhead up the stairs, the muscles in his arms tensing under his jacket. Otonashi had pretty much given up on supporting himself due to blood loss, someone had to support that deadweight...] Almost... there...
[He was panting gently by the time they reached the platform, waiting for the next tram to come by.] Hah... The view is pretty good from up here...
no subject
It's impossible for me to run like this. Th-that... can't be right... If I could have run, I would have. [ Maybe then he wouldn't have come so worried about the outcome. Of course by the time Otonashi speaks, he can hear the sound of Hinata's panting. It's enough to draw an apologetic look out of him. ]
Ah, I'm sorry... [ Luckily, the next aerial car seems to be en route. Hooray for weird air trains! ]
no subject
You don't have to run anywhere..! I'm here, I'll help you get around, okay? [He tone is soft, assuming Otonashi is in considerable pain, considering the look of those wounds.]
It's alright, I don't mind..! [As the air tram glides to a halt in front of them, he helps the redhead on board, immediately lowering him into a seat so he can rest. Hinata stands in front of him, just to stop other people from bumping him.] How are you feeling, Otonashi-kun?
no subject
He's quite tired, and all of this is confusing.]
Uhh... ha, I'm fine... [...] Hey... Hinata. Do you.. have a pen? [Otonashi has some old meal tickets in his pocket for paper...]
