☆ 001; an unexpected visit
Who: some white-haired lamers Alcor (
jumyouboshi) and Yamato Hotsuin (
drakenguard)
Where: Libra 6-02, aka Alcor's apartment.
Summary: Alcor gets a visit from one of the last people he expected. While said person is drunk, at that.
Warnings: Alcor and Yamato interacting within a 10 feet radius. Hideousness is inevitable.
[Nobody visited Alcor.
At least, nobody visited Alcor's apartment. First of all, he didn't even need an apartment to live in, as humans did. He didn't need to sleep, eat, drink, use the bathroom, shower, and so on. He wasn't even in his apartment at least 90% of the time, preferring to observe humans in the outdoors, whether it was on top of buildings, or sitting on park benches. It was a wonder he kept it anyway.
But there was a slight bit of comfort to be found in having a "private space" to one's self, he found. Granted, it was nothing new for him to be alone, but he wasn't really alone here, was he? Especially with his other self literally hovering out and about. However, he didn't want to trouble the others with his well-being and presence, and so he opted to keep this space of his. Besides, he did use the electricity to fiddle around with human technology more, typing away at a laptop he had gotten himself (bought? taken from a store? who knows?) sometimes.
The fact remained however, that nobody visited Alcor. It was always he who came to them, to understand their ways of thinking, or to provide hints when they needed it. Not the other way around, for he was elusive and ever watching from a distance. They could attempt to contact him, but if he didn't want to be found, he would not be found. That was all right though, as he usually appeared when you needed it.Aside from the Tsuutenkaku incident.
So it was very strange that Alcor, sitting around in the apartment for once, heard sounds at his door. Some scratching, a grunt or two, and the clink of...keys? Followed by more scratching. Was someone trying to get in? He had thought it was human custom to knock instead of using force to get into a human habitation.
Obviously, that warranted more investigation, which is why he got up from his chair and floated over toward the door, but did not open it. Yet.]

[Yamato winced instantly after that snap though, the raised voice giving him a brief, blinding headache. He pressed a hand to his temple, his lips pressing into a thin line]
...due to our history, it is, perplexing as to why you would even care about such things, unless you had an ulterior motive...
no subject
[Alcor looked at him with an expression of slight disappointment. Was kindness really a foreign concept to Yamato...? Actually, he knew the answer to that, and he knew whose fault that it was so. ...His fault, of course. Always his fault.]
no subject
[Yamato's voice trailed off into a bitter mutter, turning his head fully into the pillow as his hand dropped]
I'm too tired to play your mind games.
no subject
[It wasn't as if Alcor needed that pillow or bed anyway. It might as well be used by someone.]
