[CLOSED] Nope, not happy
Who: Miyako Hotsuin (
capitalbackup) and Yamato Hotsuin (
drakenguard).
When: March 29th.
Where: The park, Capricorn
Summary: When Miyako discovered her sparring partner and personal obstacle disappeared, she’s not happy at all. Instead of stewing on this, she send a message to her brother.
Warnings: Eventually brawling. Otherwise, a pair of Hotsuins.
He’s late.
If there’s one thing she knew about him, Mordred Pendragon was always punctual to their sparring sessions. For him to be late for this long, something must have come up. The most telling example of this was the lack of calls from him. He would tell her and cancelled today’s session.
With a frown, she tried to access his inbox. Odd...
After a while, with no luck, Miyako finally called upon *Hyun-ae. Perhaps the AI may know the answer to this...
-
Miyako disconnected after her conversation with *Hyun-ae. No, she’s not pleased about this at all, and she can feel herself getting more and more frustrated.
Someone who defeated her and who she see as an obstacle to overcome, gone. Maybe the powers that be believed Mordred have served his purpose and sent him back. But it nevertheless made her frustrated. How can she prove herself to be stronger without Mordred around? There will always be other opponents, she knew that. But Mordred Pendragon was the one who fought and won fairly against her in a duel.
She could defeat all other swordsmen in this city, but Miyako will never be satisfy until her blade won against his.
“Tch.”
Miyako’s frustrated and wanted to vent it out. But what to do...she has no desire to fight with Mara at the moment, and it’s still daylight right now.
After a moment, she started writing up a message and sent it to Yamato’s inbox: Let me know whenever you have free time.
A short message, but Miyako didn’t want to put down her reason for why she’s asking. Maybe when her brother’s here and talking to her in person, then she may say them to him. But now, she will wait for his reply.
…Were there any takoyaki stands nearby?

As he said, their spars were brutal. Having practised fighting against demons, they fought like demons themselves. The amount of times Yamato had to resort to lashing out with his nails and fangs just to gain the upperhand was embarrassingly high. Of course, to his subordinates, he appeared to be a very sophisticated fighter, but if things ever truly got dangerous... Yamato can and would fight like a wild animal.
"Are you ready?"

"I'm ready."
It's all she said, before Miyako shifted into a familiar stance and watched Yamato carefully. Sometimes, she'd take the first action, sometimes he will.

There was a tense pause - and then he struck.
It was a surprisingly swift attack, one moment he was prowling, the next he darted towards his sister - from her left - already moving to sweep her legs out from under her.
