Who: Anyone who wants to go to school
Where: Any of the schools found in the Calendar (there are other schools, but your characters would only be going to those)
Summary: General School log! Start your own threads, make threads, or just have your character going to school and meeting the others. You have carte blanche.
Warnings: Nothing for now.

April 1st. While for many it would be a day for jokes and pranks, in Japan (and by extension, Hinoto-Ri who clung on some things from the past like precious memories), it was the start of the school year.

Those that were of age had gotten their papers already, and hopefully you had read the messages involving it. Otherwise, SURPRISE!

Thankfully, it didn't seem like the government was pushing for you to go absolutely, but they were STRONGLY SUGGESTING it for your own good. Your own enlightenment, if you will. Besides, it was free education, why pass that up?

These are the adventures of those inside of school on their first days...

"I can't believe I'm actually at school again.." It's hard to say why she's at school, maybe she's been guilted into it by a close friend, or maybe she actually wants to graduate so she can become a police woman sooner. Either way, she's in her usual school uniform, which is really just her green jacket and her plaid skirt, moping around carrying a few books with her.

"I don't want to have to take any tests.." Compared to Labry's upbeat optimism, Chie looks like she just wants to die or go home and pass out. She looks at Labrys as she passes by her on the way to the Third Year classrooms, too tired or too depressed to even acknowledge her.

"Chie-chan? What's the matter? You sick?" Labrys runs to her side, ready to help. She'll carry her to homeroom if she has to. How can someone be so miserable at school? This is the place to be if you're--

Wait. Tests?

"...What kinda tests are we talkin' about?"

Even though this might be the first time seeing Labrys in person, Chie is so tired and so bored with school already that her usual enthusiasm is no where to be found. Instead, she just treats the robot like a any old friend.

"No, I was just excited that I wouldn't have to go to school when I got here.. and now it starts again. I'm going to have to study, and take notes..and.. " Her voice just trails off. Chie is just staring at the floor, covering her mouth with her hand as she yawns.

"Tests? You know, like grades and midterms and stuff?"

"Why wouldn't you wanna go? Is it because you don't know a lot of people at this one? Y'got me at least. I'll always be your friend." She puts a metallic hand on Chie's shoulder. "You must've been anxious and stayed up last night, right?"

She taps at her chin for a moment. "Oh, right. That's how they measure how well ya learned stuff. I'd rather take tests like that then, well, other kinda tests." Like the ones where you how to destroy all opponents.

"No, it's not like that," Well, it was kinda like that. Going to school without even having Yukiko beside her to poke her awake when she started snoring was making this even worse than it should be. She thinks to try and tell Labrys that she doesn't really know anything about her, but it seems like it's just going to be too difficult to do, so she just sighs and accepts this new friendship.

"No way, all tests are the worst. You study for hours and hours then when you actually take the test, you forget every single thing you learned!" Chie says "you" a lot here, when she really is just talking about her own failings.

"...That doesn't make sense. If you learned something, you'll remember it, won'tcha? Unless you learned the wrong things..."

"Not me, when it comes to tests, my brain just stops working and I can't remember a single thing I learned about whatever subject it is. I'm really the worst at tests.." Chie realizes that maybe Labrys doesn't have the same issue, she can probably do super long division in her head and calculate probabilities of every little thing, seeing as she's a robot.

"That sounds terrible. Maybe there's something wrong with ya? We should tell Yukiko-chan!"

"Maybe there is..." Everyone else seems to have no trouble remembering what they studied for the test in her class, so maybe Chie does have something wrong with her brain. ...That's a really disappointing thought though.

"N-No, I'm pretty sure Yukiko already knows that I'm no good at taking tests.." After the countless study sessions together where Chie still ended up doing poorly, Chie didn't need another lecture from her best friend on doing better.
