I heard you like bears...

Who: Senri and OPEN
Where: All over town
Summary: Senri was asked to get a toy bear fixed. And he's gonna ask everyone in town if he has to.
Warnings: None

Senri still didn't really understand what had happened in the velvet room. Or how he got there. Or even what that place is for. But when he was there, a very nice lady asked him for a favor. So naturally he has to help her out.

And if you knew any of that, it might explain why he was wandering around the city, looking for anyone who doesn't seem otherwise occupied. Or why he just stopped you on the street and is holding up a teddy bear. There is a rip in it's arm. And his expression is some combination of questioning and hopeful. Help him out?

[He helpfully holds up the flower that represents his former master.]

She's your... master? But that would make you...

[bear_necessities]

[He points to himself.]

Slave.

[There. Does that help? But, as an afterthought, he adds..]

Used to be.

[She'd let him go, after all. Taken his collar back and everything.]

Oh...

[Nano's not entirely sure how she should be reacting to that. Mostly, she seems to settle on feeling sorry for him.]

U-um... well, that's good, then. It must have been terrible...

No..

[He doesn't know why she looks so sad. He smiles and pats her on the head.]

It's okay.

[all_wound_up]

A-are you sure? Wasn't it terrible, having to cook and clean and do the laundry...

[Nano pauses for a moment here.]

without... being paid...

[And then her face goes white.]

[bear_necessities]

[She seems upset, and he's very worried about that.

But... he honestly has no idea what the problem is. So he just looks at her, head tilted in confusion, concern in his eyes.]

[all_wound_up]

That's the same thing I was doing at home!

[bear_necessities]

[Head tilts.... slightly further.

Why is that a problem again?]

[all_wound_up]

Did the Professor really just build me for that?

[bear_necessities]

[Oh. Oh no, is she crying? And is it his fault? Now he's really worried.

He reaches out tentatively and gently pets her hair.]

Don't cry...

[all_wound_up]

[Not really full-on crying, just sort of wibbling. But she smiles a small smile back at Senri when she feels his hand on her head.]

O-okay...

[Slowly calming down a bit, she nods.]

I-I'm sure that isn't how she thought of me.

[bear_necessities]

[He nods, agreeing with her even though he doesn't really understand.

As long as she isn't upset though, he's happy.]

Well, I'm glad things worked out for you too.

[bear_necessities]

[He smiles again, visibly relaxing now that the crisis of sad!moe seems to have passed.

[all_wound_up]

Come to me if you have any other stuffed animals you need to have repaired, all right? It'll be good practice for me.

[bear_necessities]

[He nods again, and picks up the toy bear.]

Thank you.

[And off he goes, to return the bear to the nice lady who gave it to him.]
