Summary: Work, chores, battle. The routine of many in Hinoto-Ri. Naoya's starting to get sick of it, though.

[Cancer Ward - Morning]

[Naoya looks a bit frazzled as he makes his way down the streets of the electronics ward. He doesnt want to go to work. He hates these people - they're stupid and shouldn't even be trusted with a computer. Then they come crying to him to fix their things. The only reason he's even doing this anymore is to save up to buy more components for his computer.]

[He still has time before he has to go in. Mabye he'll find someone while he's browsing parts shops?]

[Virgo Ward - Afternoon]

[And the other reason he's been saving up. He buys some more ammo from the counter in the supermarket, and turns to browse the shelves for more things to buy for food. He's already got pancake mix and powdered sugar in his cart, and he heads into the dairy aisle to look for butter and milk.]

[Sweet-tooth breakfasts are serious business, okay.]

[Sagittarius Ward - 13th Hour]

[He knows he needs to train up Coyote more. Which is why Naoya has him out as they prowl down the streets together. The weaker monsters that cross their path are set upon by Coyote, and Naoya shoots a few himself. The loot disappears into his pockets, and he doesn't really look too concerned.]

[Hopefully he'll find a better challenge soon, whether it be a bigger monsters or maybe another Visitor. He's not opposed to unofficial duels, after all.]

*Someone else is already there, reading the ingredients of a little tub of decadently triple-fudge pudding... and cooing to themselves quietly, a soft, melodic, almost liquid sort of burbling sound. And then they drop it into their basket, and picks up another little pudding, to read the ingredients on that.*

*basket contents: a bottle of flavored syrup, like one might use in coffees or Italian sodas, two bags of hard candies of some sort, a giant tub of hot chocolate mix, plus half a gallon of milk to go with it, a bottle of whip cream, the pudding, and... two round plastic containers that looked like they'd have been from the deli section, except they seem to be full of... something dark, sloshing around, just visible through the white plastic. Broth? Who knows.*

*But really, Naoya, since when did bird-person demons go grocery shopping in broad daylight like this? And it looks like this one has a sweet tooth to rival the hacker's, too.*

[After realising how useful her Intel Persona can be, Miyako is out on the streets with Chamunda out for training. She also have her katana out, slicing down any monsters after Chamunda's earth spell hit them. Following near her is Norn, in order to provide additional backup during the training.

After some monsters fell, she would pick up the loot they dropped before continuing on.

She watch as Chamunda finishes off another monster.]

...Too weak.

[Kazuya rarely used his Persona, but even he knew that he should, at the very least, put it through its paces every so often, in case he found himself without his powers or demon subjects to help him.

Fffhaha, like that would ever happen, but still. Best be careful.

So when Kazuya heard gunshots, well, he had to check it out, just to gauge the competition - only so many demons, and Kazuya always felt competitive if there was another hunter in his area. It shouldn't've surprised him to see Naoya, but, huh, since when did his cousin use a gun?]

Hey. What're you doing?

[Says Kazuya with his angelic Persona floating behind him (it's a fallen one though!)]

[He blinks as he sees the creature, and pulls out his COMP.]

['No data available.']

[He shouldn't be surprised, since he's the one that programmed it, but it's still fairly irritating. He watches the thing as he continues his shopping, attempting to observe its movements.]

[Naoya chases a monster past her, Coyote howling and yipping as he falls on the small creature, slashing it.]

[Naoya turns, and spots Miyako. ... Hm. He can tell right away that she's not Yamato.]

... Hello there.

[Naoya holsters the gun and turns towards Kazuya.]

Training. Coyote needs some more exercise, and... mm. I could use some target practice.

[Even he runs out of magic sometimes, and relying only on his demons would be stupid. He has to keep all of his defensive options open.]

*Putting that pudding into the basket too. There's four of them in it, by the time the birdpire moves off to another section... frozen desserts! After some more label-reading, some sort of fruit-juice-flavored frozen yogurt gets put into the basket, and then a gallon-sized plastic tub of vanilla ice cream. Maybe they're planning a party or something?*

*Aaaaaand going to head to the checkout now, looking quite pleased with this haul. Admit it, Naoya, you're totally curious about this sweet-toothed not-an-angel demon, aren't you.*

[Miyako turns her attention over to Naoya, looking at the older man carefully.Without any other monsters nearby, Chamunda floats back to her side. Miyako briefly glance over at Coyote, mildly curious.] Is that your Persona or demon?

Target practice, huh...

[Kazuya's gaze drops to the gun holster briefly before he strides over to Naoya, Samyaza following him]

I didn't know you used guns.

[And as luck would have it, there's another computer enthusiast out shopping today with a similar look of bitter distaste on her face. She doesn't seem to have noticed him just yet.]

[He tucks the COMP back into his pocket, and follows it to the checkout. He's gotten most of what he was looking for anyway, so he might as well. He steps in front of someone to follow the burdpire in line, taking note of his wings and feathers. Hmm... similar to some demons he knows of, but definitely not one of them. Strange.]

Persona. My demons are much stranger looking than this one.

[Coyote sits by his side again, looking up at Miyako.]

Chamunda? Interesting...

Normally, I don't. But I was given one when I first got here, and it's come in handy. Sometimes it's simply easier to take things out yourself.

[Naoya blinks a little as he spots Fumi. He heads over towards her, blowing some stray bangs off of his face.]

Morning.

"Interesting"? Should I ask why?

[If anyone knows their Hindu mythology, Miyako wouldn't be surprised if they recognise Chamunda.]

Well, she's an more fearsome aspect of Devi. I'd think that says something about the person whose Persona that is.

Heh...I won't deny that. [While Yamato is spiritually stronger, Miyako's the stronger fighter.] Or do I have any complaints about having her.

What about, you know, COMP magic?

[Kazuya wriggled his fingers as if casting a spell, glancing at his cousin with a raised eyebrow]

Seem to remember you having some good magic up those massive sleeves of yours.

Heh. It wouldn't be a very good representation of your soul if you rejected it, would it?

I do. But sometimes I run out of magic. And... heh. I haven't been able to use Megidolaon here at all.

[Which is insanely frustrating. He's going to have to see if he can talk to one of the Velvet Room people to see if they have a clue.]

[Fumi lets out a small sigh.]

I haven't had to shop for my own components for some time. I'd forgotten how frustrating dealing with retail employees can be.
