Summary: There's a new arrival and he looks like a Sora

[Okay, he is not afraid to fully admit that he is completely and utterly lost. This place is huge for an F3 without any sign of the creepy fog that hangs out at the edges of the area that spit people back out and leave them feeling sick. His Faciliberry doesn't seem to be working either which must be the reason he's been given this other weird thing.]

[So if he can't call anyone then Sora figured he'd just have to find his friends. Which is exactly what he's been trying to do for well over an hour with absolutely no success as of yet. They have to be around here somewhere and he's determined to find them before night ends. Who knows what Val has in store for them this time around. Probably something terrible and there was always the chance that there would be monsters lurking around.]

[Anyone who sees him from afar may notice some differences from the Sora they know. First off, this one seems to be wearing an over-sized coat that looks a lot like Leon's over his own normal clothes. Also there's something orange that seems to be wiggling around in his hood. Watch long enough and a matching tail will pop up.]

[Up close even more changes are noticeable - his pale skin, thin features and most importantly, a black collar encircling his neck. And of course, it'd be hard to miss the scars along both of his arms -- one long and jagged, with the other covering a large area. Strangers might be drawn away from all that thanks to the protesting mewls coming from Sora's hood. Taking a peek inside will give someone a good view of an orange tabby cat with a purple ribbon around their neck. Don't get too close or the cat might bite though.]

[Those who aren't brave enough to get that close may hear Sora talking. To the cat. Well, more like responding to the cat as if he can understand what she says.]

Five more minutes?

[Protesting meows.]

I know you're hungry but we have to find them.

[An unhappy howl.]

Okay, okay. Let's go see if we can find something.

[After his conversation with the cat Sora turns to the nearest person, not quite looking up at them and keeping his distance seeing as how the people in F3s are generally the violent sort.]

Excuse me. Can you point the way to the nearest pet shop?

[Of course he'd been informed of Naminé's presence. But it was one thing to hear about her and another to hear her voice. To be able to see her again. He remembers the day he saw her number on the terminated list. How he'd been hoping and waiting to see that it wasn't true. How after he curled up in her art room for hours.]

[Every month he'd go to peek at the new arrivals, hoping to see one of them again but was also afraid they'd come back without the memories. There's no denying that she remembers. Not the way she bursts through that portal. If he'd been capable of doing that he would have.]

[But when he sees her Sora just stares. Naminé. It's really her. He smiles but it's a struggle not to cry at the same time.]

Nami.

[Now that he's in front of her, there is no mistaking that affectionate warmth that she sensed earlier. It's Sora. Her Sora. Her big brother. The portal closes behind her as she runs forward, stopping short just a few feet of him. She raises a hand to her mouth to stop herself from crying.]

Oh Light. You're really here. I can't believe you're really here.

Yep, I'm really here.

[Only another brief moment of staring before he closes the distance between them and pulls her into a hug. He'd lost so many of their family. Now he has two of them back, two he wasn't sure he'd get back. It's so much goodness right now after the horrible last few months he'd been through.]

We're both here.

[Naminé hugs him tightly once he's pulled her close, caught between laughing and crying. It's been so many months for her...has it been even longer for him, because of timeline differences? Or even differences in the normal passing of time? It must have. It looks even more tired and world-weary than she'd left him.

She pulls away a little, touching her forehead to his.]

I missed you so much. There's-- [She hesitates. Should she tell him about the other Sora?

No, not yet.]

There's no family without you here to bind us together.

[Letting go isn't going to be an option for a while, not completely. He wants nothing more than to keep holding her to make sure that she doesn't go anywhere again. And it's not about the passage but more about what happened. So many people he'd lost.]

[He keeps a grip on her shoulders but manages to give her a smile.]

I missed you too. And there will always be family as long as someone's together.

[But he knows, it's hard to believe when people are gone. Harder than when they're together.]

Yes. You taught me that.

[She smiles at him again because she can, gives herself another moment to greedily soak in the familiarity of the way they're talking to each other. And then she nods firmly. Right. Sora's in this world now, which means as much as she'd like to equally hug him forever to make sure Hinoto-Ri never takes him away from her and Kairi and the others, he needs to get settled in. Which, she supposes, starts with getting Mittens some food.

Though Sora desperately needs it too. She reaches around to stroke over the tabby cat.]

Let's talk while we find both you and Mittens some lunch. I'm sure Kairi and the others will have found us by then.

[A pause, and then softly:]

Though, do we need to wait for anyone else?

[It might be too much to hope that any of the others from their family were brought over with Sora, but she hopes anyways.]

[And Sora is returning that smile because he was afraid he'd never get the chance to do so again. If it was possibly he'd never let them out of his sight again but then again Sora knows that it wouldn't matter. Clone sickness isn't something that can be warded off just by keeping someone close.]

[So for now he'll settle for watching as she pets the cat (who is clearly enjoying the attention and purring) and then offering her his arm. This way they can walk side-by-side and she can lead the way.]

Food sounds good.

[The Facility had been running low on supplies when he left. But then she's asking a question he really didn't want to answer.]

I didn't see anyone else.

[He can't bring himself to tell her that it had been just him, Riku and Xion at the end. Can't tell her that Roxas and Lea were terminated a few weeks back. Not right now when they're having a happy reunion.]

[Naminé gives Mittens a little kiss before exhaling softly. That's that, then. None of her other brothers, no Xion. It's disappointing news, but at the same time it's not surprising. And also not discouraging. Neku, Shiki, and Joshua had arrived a short while ago, and now Sora. There might still be a chance that the others will eventually find their way here.

She has faith that they will, with time.

She nods in understanding, looping her arm with his and twining their fingers together to squeeze reassuringly.]

I see. Then...let's go. Lunch rush at the cafe I work at shouldn't have started yet, so we can get a quiet table to ourselves.

[It is disappointing, but not so bad compared to the news that a good chunk of them were already gone. Though if Namine and Kairi were here and they'd been terminated, it was possible the others could too. They just have to wait.]

[Another smile, brighter this time.]
