A man and his vices...
Who: Dante and OPEN.
Where: Anywhere.
Summary: There's a new arrival and his priorities are questionable.
Warnings: None.
So, there's a silver-haired fellow here finding himself a little lost and confused so, you're going to find him soaking in his environment. Watch out, he might notice you!
Whoops, too late! He notices you and now he's going to ask you something super important... "Hey you! Is there, um, a bar nearby? If not a bar, then a club?" It appears he has his sights set on liquor and babes. He does want to know where he is but his vices are important to him at the moment.

"You must be new to this city. Luckily, there's an entire district dedicated to bars, clubs, and every other associated fair you can think of. "I was on my way there myself. I could show you, if you'd like."
no subject
Oh right! "What's this city called?" He asks. All he really knows is that the city feels strange to him, and not just because it's a new place to him. He seems to be in some deep thought before asking something else, "What's the day-to-day life for the people here? Does, uh, anything strange happen here?"
Them demon hunters, I tell ya.no subject
He motioned for Dante to follow him and started back on his way towards the notorious red-light district with the assumption that he'd listen. "Day-to-day is pretty normal for a big city. Human traffic, businesses, school, civil dissent and government presence." He smirked. "Then there's the 13th hour. It's likely going to be your most common 'strange.' It happens at night and that's when the demons and monsters come out to play. Most people seek shelter, some don't."
Johnny never did, but that was because he only had the hours when it was dark available to him to walk around. Besides, when you are something that goes bump in the night, there's less to be afraid of.
"Of course some other things happen too, but I suppose it all depends on your definition of 'strange' now doesn't it?"
no subject
He takes a more relaxed posture now, "I dunno, man. My definition for strange changes all the time. I mean, I'm a demon hunter." Dante pauses and chuckles nervously, "Well, I was going to call myself that officially when I had fixed my shop up but that's... not going to be for a while now," he sighs.
"Either way, man, I had plan on dealing with some pretty strange stuff. Guess I'll just stick my nose into the strange stuff here, then!"
no subject
At least Dante seemed to have the exuberance for it, that was always a plus. "I don't believe you'll find yourself bored here by any stretch. I mean, if there's nothing to hunt, there's always the shops, bars, and whores of every gender and species. There's some crappy bars and brothels in this city, but it's not too hard to find a decent place with a decent price."
Johnny had partaken in the various bars on occasion, but not the brothels, his knowledge there was more of the inside variety; whores talked to other whores and they were more than willing to spill on the good and the bad.

Dante'll perks up more when he hears what's here. "Ya think so?" He asks. He's going to hold you up to that, you know. "Do the shops here have any guns or swords in 'em?"
no subject
"I believe so. At least, it wouldn't surprise me. They have just about everything here, so I'm sure you could find some. Can't guarantee what the price tag will look like, but that's what a job is for.
He pointed ahead of them where the buildings and general setting started to change. "That's our place, the edge of the Taurus district."
no subject
So, rather than ignore the guy, Riku brings one hand to his hip and smirks.
"Try the whole Taurus District. The place is packed with them."
no subject
"Thanks," he'll say. He just continues staring at you and then, a few minutes later, "Hey kid, is it natural or dyed?"
no subject
So Riku shrugs. No big deal.
"It's one hundred percent natural. Been this way ever since I was little."
no subject
no subject
"Nah, I was just born this way. No dark secrets or mysterious past; it's just hair."
The latest
Well, you're in luck, son. I just so happen to be the owner of a club not too far from here.
no subject
"Is that so, penguin head?" He's laughing internally.
no subject
no subject
"I'm interested, yeesh. What do you do, wake up on the wrong side of the bed this morning?"
No, more like you're a jerk, Dante.
no subject
[He's a paying customer, so whatever. DeDeDe smirks a bit, beckoning Dante to follow with a wave of a gloved hand.]
C'mon, it's just down the way. The booze ain't watered down and the girls'll do anything you want for the right price.
no subject
Yeah, he's not going to shut up about that one.
no subject
no subject
"I've seen worst anyways, man. A lot worst."
no subject
DeDeDe has to admit a certain amount of curiosity here.
"Well, you'll fit in just fine there, then. Gotta say, this city ain't as bad as most folk'll tell ya."
What is timely tagging?
"...heh," Kazuya grinned a bit slyly, "You're in luck. I work at one. Sex, booze, and all that crap. I can show you if you want, but..."
He rubbed his mouth, crimson eyes squinting up at the weird man contemplatively before thrusting out his hand, as if expecting to be handed something. "It'll cost ten thousand yen for a tour! Please and thank you!"
no subject
"...I didn't even get paid for stopping a world-breaking havoc," he'll huff as he crosses his arms, "And I'm pretty sure Lady would've put me in debt for destroying her motorcycle..." He kicks a lone stone. He's not very lucky.
no subject
"Oh, so you're some sort of hobo?" Kazuya sniffed, turning his head away and crossing his arms. "Gross. Sorry, but sex clubs need money to serve you, y'know. Unless..." his gaze dropped down to the front of Dante's trousers, "Those are assless chaps you're wearing there, and you're planning to pay in booty points."
no subject
And no, I don't plan on doing any of that. Why would I? I mean, sure I got a nice ass but I don't have any interest in that stuff."
no subject
The grin vanished. "Although I'm not kidding about the money thing. You can open up a tab, but you gotta pay up sometime. If you don't, you have to deal with me."
Yes... him, a scrawny looking guy who barely looked fourteen, than his actual age of seventeen. It looked like Dante could snap him over his knee without really trying.
The grin was back. "Bu~ut if you can prove that you can get some cash flowing soon, I'll lead you to your wanted destination, no problem."
no subject
He'll sigh, "Whatever. I'll figure something out." And by that he means when he gets around to it. "By the way, has anyone told you you're a strange kid?"
no subject
He shadow boxes a bit, bouncing slightly on the balls of his feet before dropping his arms with a laugh.
"No time to be all stiff and boring. Everything's meant to be fun and weird."
no subject
Most of them are in the Taurus district. You could try Nyx's Bar. My adopted mother works there.
no subject
"Thanks. Um, where is the Taurus district?" Yeah, he's still a tad bit lost.
no subject
You have to go to the metro and take this line all the way here. It's not that long of a ride.
[She gives him a sideways glance.]
Are you new to Hinoto-Ri, by any chance?

And rowdy pirates and bar fights and questionable food, for that matter.
