[CLOSED] Date Night

Who: Chie and Ryoji
Where: Amagi Inn and some steak restaurant!
Summary: Ryoji taking Chie out on a date! Gasp!

Chie had never gotten ready for a date before. Luckily she had gone out with Minako a couple days before to buy a new outfit and to psyche herself up for it. That fact that she was promised they could get some steak after shopping had made that day a little more bearable. And she even had found clothes she thought looked good, in a way that she didn't usually see herself.

For the longest time she stood in front of the mirror in her room in the Amagi Inn, staring at herself. She was wearing a yellow bustier-type top, with a tiny jean jacket covering her shoulders. On her lower half she had a jean miniskirt that seemed too tight but the sales woman insisted it looked good on her. Chie had even worn a pair of green kitten heels to round out her outfit, instead of her usual sneakers.

Just looking at herself she couldn't help but wonder what the heck she was doing. Dating was a completely normal thing for girls her age to do, but why did it feel so strange when she was doing it? At that point, if she hadn't gotten a text to say someone was there to see her she probably would have ended up just hiding in her bed and refusing to go out.

So Chie went to the lobby of the Inn, looking around for the boy, feeling so out of place with how she was dressed compared to her usual self.

Ryoji on the other hand, was completely used to dates! He's been on plenty of them, both here and back home, so it was nothing too major for him. Sure, it was great meeting people, but he wouldn't be nervous about it or anything!

It didn't take long for Ryoji to show up though, arriving on time. What's the point in being late, right? He doesn't want to keep anyone waiting! So when he arrived, and saw her, he had really only one thing to say.

"Wow... you look really good in that! I'm glad that I was prepared for it, otherwise I would have fallen to the floor right here!"

When Chie recognizes the boy from the network, she felt her stomach turn. She had no strong feelings over whether he was good looking or not, but seeing him happily strolling to her, Chie couldn't help but feel incredibly awkward. And things only got worse when Ryoji complimented her on her appearance. Her first instinct was to start throwing kicks until he apologized, but she knew that wasn't exactly what you were supposed to do on a date. Minako and Yukiko had coached her how to get through this, she just had to remember her training.

"Th-Thank you.." she tried to accepted the sentiment gracefully, only she clammed up, stammered and turned red. When she was't allowed to express her self with her feet, Chie had a hard time expressing herself at all.
