Johnny's expression only softened the more Kazuya spoke. The teen's rambling, and stumbling over his words, and the way he flushed when he realized what he was doing, added to the fact his eyes were that same blue Johnny remembered, all just reminded him so much of Katsu. Unfortunately for Kazuya, this meant that all that fondness Johnny was suddenly feeling built up to the point that the vampire started to laugh only a few seconds after the fumbled apology was out.

It didn't last long, but a big smile was still left behind in the wake of the laughter. At least it was an honest smile. "Aaaah! You're cute when you're like that." The size of his smile faded a tad and he shoved his hands into his pockets. "Don't worry about it, you aren't the first person to have done that, and those other times were worse." Barry had been nothing short of brutal with Belial's desires mixing with his own.

His smile faded almost completely as he got a little more serious; he didn't want to be seen as insincere. "And I apologize for tearing off your arm. I'd hoped such drastic measures wouldn't be necessary. If it still huts, I could have a look at it, if you'd like, I might be able to do something for it."
