He appreciates her concern, but he's not here to look like an idiot. That, and he's how the hell that would even work, but the realities of it don't really matter at this point, he's currently too busy coughing to really care. Eventually, however, like it always does, his coughing subsides, and he can feel his lungs start to breathe properly again.
