Where: JP’s headquarters
Summary: After the getting out of the hospital due to the memory swap event, Miyako and Fumi arranged to interview Senri.
Warnings: None for now.

[After reading the file Fumi sent to her earlier, Miyako quickly made the arrangement to talk to Senri. An interview, so to speak.

The reason? To judge Senri’s worth, now that the stress of having their memories swapped was gone. And to see for herself whether it’s worth granting Fumi’s proposal. With her brother currently preoccupied with other matters, Miyako would have to do this in his place.

Beside, the information she read from the profile intrigued her enough to grant this interview.

Inside JP’s Nagoya branch, Miyako was sitting down in the meeting room, her cool and calculating eyes gazing at Senri.]

[Sitting across from her. Staring right back. Seriously he can do this all day. He has nearly endless patience.]

[Fumi doesn't let that go on for very long before she turns to Miyako.]

[Compared to Senri, Miyako's patience isn't nearly as endless. She glance at Fumi, acknowledging her words before turning her attention back to Senri.]

Senri, we're here because of your +Anima and your entry into JP's authorised areas during the time when people's memories got traded.

[She won't sugercoat it or play up pleasantries.]

Do you retain any knowledge of the security codes?

[She would doubt it, based on Fumi's file about him. However, the memory event made it a little uncertain. If he didn't remember, that's that. If he did, it's a security risk.]

[She doesn't need pleasantries. Their reasons for being here aren't that important to him. His reason for being here is because Fumi asked him to. He considers her a friend, so he does what she says. It's that simple.]

[He considers the question for a moment, then shakes his head. No, he doesn't remember the codes.]

I've already changed the security codes anyway, so it wouldn't have mattered much in the long run. He does have a temporary ID badge, but I've deactivated it, so currently it serves as nothing more than a reminder that I exist.

[It matches up with what she knows about the memory swap's aftermath. If he remembers, she would follow it up with another question about the materials he would've read in their archives.

She acknowledged Fumi's words, not at all surprised by the older woman's actions.]

Moving on.

[Since the security matter is all but settled.]

We're interested in studying your +Anima and want you to be Kanno's research subject.

[Another nod. If that's what Fumi wants him to do, he's fine with that. He trusts her to not try to steal it, like Fly did to Cooro.]

Some of the tests may be dangerous or carry an inherent risk, but I can assure you they'll be designed with your safety as the top priority.

[It's not a view she used to espouse, but Kaito changed that. It seems some beliefs and values were strong enough to carry through to the new world Polaris created for Yamato.]

[It's not a view she's used to hearing from Fumi, but Miyako leave it be for now. If Senri's safety are assured, they can carry out more experiments on him.]

If there are no more objections, that leaves giving you your limited security access. [Because they can't have him accidentally wander into certain areas, like her secret office or certain archives.] I will also notify Yamato about this.

[He nods again. But Fumi's friend here seems to like it when people talk, so as an afterthought he adds a verbal response.]

[Fumi lets out a small breath, smiling.]

Well, that was easy. I'll take care of his security permissions.

[As long Miyako get her answer, she doesn't mind how little he talks. Of course, that may depend on the situation.]

Do so, Kanno. [She looks at Senri.] Don't wander off until you received your security access.

[Nodnod. He'll stay put until someone tells him otherwise. He's nothing if not conveniently obedient.]

[Fumi heads off for a bit before coming back with an ID badge for Senri, attached to a lanyard. It has a picture of him on the front.]

Here. Wear this around your neck or keep it in a pocket. You'll need it to enter the building, though for now I'll need to escort you in anyway. You can keep the other one from before in your book.

[She glances down at the badge before looking at Miyako.]

Will this be sufficient to for you to remember the Chief, or would you like her to give you something else as a memento?

Do you want me to give something to you?

[Miyako looks at Senri, waiting for his answer. If he does need a memento to remember her, she can give him something.]

[He nods. It's probably better if he remembers her. He pulls out his book.]

Well? What will it be?

[Fumi's watching Miyako, wondering what she'll decide to part with.]

[After a moment, Miyako move a hand and pluck one of the buttons off her uniform. She hold it out to Senri.]

Will this do?

[The button can be replaced.]

[He nods, and into the book it goes. There's a lot of pretty random stuff in there. Several flowers, a feather, a hairclip, and all sorts of other small objects.]

[Fumi smiles, nodding at them both.]

All right, then. That should take care of everything.
