An unlikely visitor
Who: Kairi and OU Xion, possibly room for other castmates later
Where: Castle Departure, morning
Summary: A fairy prank places Xion into Kairi's bed. Unfortunately for Xion, this isn't exactly the best place to be; Kairi has been on the look-out for her since the memory event, and hasn't been able to catch her until now...
Warnings: PG for Disney
[Waking up with someone else in her bed wasn't necessarily unusual for Kairi; both she and Naminé often suffered from nightmares, and would crawl into each others beds at night for the closeness and comfort. So as the redhead begins to emerge from slumber and feel another person next to her, she instinctively cuddles up closer, enjoying the warmth as she tries to soak up the last few minutes of sleep. However, when her eyes finally blink open, she's faced with a head of hair she certainly wasn't expecting: black.]
Xi...on...?
[It's still early, so the most Kairi has in her is a confused murmur, and she slowly pulls away from the other girl to stare down with confusion. That was certainly Xion, and too young to be the one she lived with... what in the world was going on?]

It also rouses her from her slumber, and she's face to face with another girl.
Quite literally, the girl she was just dreaming about. Even if she looks older, the face and eyes and voice are still much the same.
Needless to say, Xion scrambles backwards, wide awake and looking much like a frightened animal. Which is probably much attributed to her horrible bedhead. And her horrified sputters and pointing.]
no subject
[She wasn't entirely sure what to expect from the young Xion, wasn't even sure if she'd know who she was to begin with, but that certainly wasn't the reaction she would've liked. Kairi tries to keep her body language and tone as non threatening as possible as Xion flings her self away, hands gripping the blankets gently.
She could figure out how in the world Xion got in her bed once she calmed down and didn't threaten to flee like a skittish kitten.]
no subject
SORRY KAIRI give her a quick minute to give herself the run down and- yep, she's fine. Whole. In one piece.
Thankfully.
But that still doesn't explain where the fuck she is or why the hell she's here.
Xion also needs to stop backing up before she--
Nope, never mind, Xion just hit the floor with a thump and an indignant sound of surprise like she's under attack and the floor just commited treason against her.]
no subject
Jesus can we not leave you alone for two seconds Xion.Kairi quickly throws herself forward over the bed, leaning over the side to look down on Xion's undignified heap of a self and offer her a hand, expression etched with worry.]
Are you okay?!
[Well this was off to a fantastic start, wasn't it? At least it wasn't the 13th hour, else Xion's inevitable bolt out the door would take a much worse turn...]
no subject
Actually correct. Xion scrambles upwards when Kairi moves. Sudden movements are not good things, you know, and she bolts towards the door, pushing and pulling on it until she finds a way to actually open it in her haste.
Good job.]
no subject
[JESUS GURL TAKE IT DOWN A NOTCH. I hope you chose the right door though, there are three doors in this room and only one of them leads to the sweet sweet hallway... where you will probably proceed to get lost.
Which will it be, Xion. The hallway, the closet, or Naminé's room?]
no subject
That sure was the thunk of Xion's head hitting the wall.]
no subject
God, if she wasn't too busy worrying about Xion's well being, Kairi would've taken a moment to bask in the sheer second hand embarrassment and awfulness that was this situation in a nutshell. But instead, she's going to rush to the doorway and once again offer out her hand to Xion in the hopes that perhaps, just maybe, she'll actually take it this time.]
Please don't run! I just want to talk!
[For the love of god please stop running.]
no subject
She thinks you tried to kidnap her or something and this isn't a good situation so.
Despite her now fully functioning headache from ramming headfirst into the back of the closet, she summons her keyblade, taking an aggressive stance.]
Stay back!
no subject
god it was way too early for this. She wasn't really worried about getting hurt or anything of the sort; the issue here was just getting Xion to calm down long enough to talk some sense into her. Let's try to approach this situation a little differently, shall we...]Please calm down, Xion! I don't know how you got into my room, but it's okay! I'm a friend of Roxas and Axel!
[She hoped those names would be enough to get them going in the right direction...]
no subject
She doesn't want to get trapped, after all.]
You're lying. I would have seen you.
no subject
[She doesn't move back any farther, still mostly blocking the doorway, but Kairi keeps her hands up to try and make Xion feel like she's in control of the situation; less likely to run that way.]
I'm a keyblade wielder too, you see...
no subject
[Despite how frightened she is, she's- she's really, really trying to be commanding and authoritative. Probably doesn't help she not only fell flat on her ass but ran head first into a closet.
Mostly she just doesn't want to be stuck in the closet anymore
hehehe.]I don't trust you.
no subject
I'm sorry... just, my name is Kairi. We're from the same world, and I know you even if you don't remember me. I'd just like to talk to you sometime, alright? It doesn't have to be now, since you don't want to. I'm also a friend of Nano's, who I think you've met here... please just give me a chance sometime, okay? That's all I ask.
no subject
Why? Why do you want to talk to me? What does she have to do with it?
no subject
[Might as well be blunt and upfront about it at this point. She's already lost her twice before in the past; it still stung especially hard whenever she thought about the Xion she left behind at Animus.]
Nano doesn't have anything to do with it, I'm just... I promise I'm not some creeper or something.
no subject
[however admittedly short that was. She also is avoiding the word seen, since, well.
Dreams and shit.
Also they never had icecream together >BT]
no subject
People from the same world, or worlds in our case, can also come from different points in time, sometimes further back or further forward than someone else. I'm from further forward than you are. Does that make any sense...?
[A pause. She wasn't sure if it'd be a good idea to explain that she had met three different versions of Xion by this point as well...]
no subject
[Because using that logic, anyone can claim to know her, to be friends with her. Be friends with Axel and Roxas too.
It's also not very hard at this point to notice that she's also moving towards another door. Slowly, at that. Please let it be the way out.]
no subject
What reason would I have to deceive you, Xion?
no subject
[That's the problem. Xion has a keyblade herself, so who knows why the other girl would want her.
Maybe to collect hearts for her instead.]
no subject
I don't know how I can prove I'm trustworthy to you, especially since no one you do trust is here to back me up. But... I hope you can at least give me a chance, all I want is to be a friend to you. If you need any help with things, either with stuff around Hinoto-ri or confusion about stuff back home, I hope you can feel confident with asking me. You can go if you want to, okay?
no subject
For about half a second, before she's close enough to the next door to turn face, open it, and go run through.
GET HER OUT OF THIS SHE DOESN'T WANT TO BE HERE SOMEONE HELP]
no subject
Whoa--! [Ouch. She lightly holds onto her guest's arms for support, blinking.] Xion?
no subject
...Though gesturing probably wasn't necessary considering Naminé would get the gist of what she was trying to express just from their connection.]
no subject
Kairi had it right. Skittish kitten indeed.]
no subject
She misses Xion from Facility. She misses Xion from the Tower. She doesn't want another Xion to be wandering lonely and hurt.]
You know, we really aren't trying to trick you. Is there anything we can do to prove that to you?
no subject
[Hopefully Xion wouldn't take off like a rocket now oops]
no subject
But she is going stock still, sputtering sounds because she honestly doesn't understand physical affection of any sort and she thinks she's literally being grappled.
So, you know, the moment she manages to collect herself, Xion's going to try shoving Naminé away hard, to punch her, literally anything she can do to break free out of the girls grip.]
no subject
Right, I guess the answer is 'nothing'.
[She tries to smile regardless.]
Don't think we won't keep trying, though. If you have questions about who you are, what you are, we're here to answer them. But more importantly, we're here for you if you need us. For anything at all.
[She gestures towards the door.]
That's the way out if you want to go.
no subject
Have a nice day, okay?
[This is the complete opposite of how she would've wanted this to go, but... can't be helped. Best to let Xion go for now and if she felt like coming back, she would. There's nothing they could do to force the issue, especially if she didn't even remember Naminé. They couldn't bring forth memories that hadn't even been made yet, or hadn't been made by this particular Xion.
One step forward and two steps back.]
no subject
She inches towards the door, keeping her eyes locked on the pair of them in case they made any sudden movements.
Once opened, she quickly draws up a Corridor on the other side to get back home. Before she leaves, however, she fixes a glare at Naminé in particular.]
I'm a Nobody, and I'm me.
no subject
You're much more than that, Xion. You're very special. Don't ever forget that.
no subject
Well, they seem to be letting her go. For now, anyways. And at the current moment, she's out numbered in an enclosed space. Not ideal for fighting.
She flees through the portal.]
no subject
I pushed her too much.
no subject
[Kairi walks over to her sister and wraps an arm around her shoulders, giving a small squeeze.]
I think the demons are pulling pranks again or something; she woke up in my bed this morning, kind of startled us both.
no subject
So that's what it was. And she's jumpy enough as it is... What should we do? After this she's going to be even harder to pin down.
no subject
[Kairi rest her head gently against Naminé's, letting out a deep and worried sigh. She had only just woken up, yet she felt like settling back in for a long nap...]
Would it hurt her if you peeked into her memories? I have absolutely no idea what she knows or doesn't know, and I'm afraid of saying something bad next chance we get. From when Nano and her switched memories, I can at least tell it'd be a bad idea to badmouth the Organization...
Agh, would that be horrible of us? To look into her memories?
no subject
[She pauses as she mulls over the memories she has of Xion. Naminé's interactions with Xion during her time with the Organization are limited, but she's glad to actually be able to remember them at all. By all accounts she shouldn't be able to, after Xion returned to Sora. But then, these other worlds like the Facility and Hinoto-Ri are strange; time and space worked differently. Impossible things like remembering Xion and having more than one of any one person in the same place-- Naminé had always attributed it to that.]
If she doesn't know who I am, she hasn't met me to ask about what she is...and if you're right about her and the Organization, that means she's still working for them and hasn't thought about leaving them yet. So for her, it can't be very long after she was created.
She...might not even be close to Roxas or Axel yet.
