Woke up with a robot

Summary: Pixie mischief makes for strange bedfellows.

[It's another beautiful summer morning in the Pisces District, and Nano's fast asleep.  She's been working hard lately, training and fighting during the 13th Hour, so today she's decided to sleep in for a change.  Sometime in the middle of the night, she managed to wriggle her way out from under her futon, and is all tangled up in the blankets.  But she's also tangled up with something - or rather, someone - that she didn't quite expect.  It's a good thing she's still off in dreamland, or she'd probably be in a full-on panic right about now.  But for the time being at least, the little robot is having a pleasant dream, arms wrapped around what her body probably thinks is a pillow.]

[Nano shifts a little in her sleep as she feels Kotoha's breath on her face.]

[Hey, what was that? The end of someone's name? Because it definitely wasn't the name of any of Kotoha's Pokemon.]

Kotoha blearily cracks one eye open at this and actually looks at Nano.

"...g'tin' b'tt'r 't th's, zorrr..."

Just another Zoroark prank. Meh. Probably have a better chance of working if she wasn't so tired.

Back to sleep.

[Nano shifts again as the sound of Kotoha's voice makes its way to her ears. That definitely isn't the voice of whoever it is she was dreaming about, and it's not the voice of Yukko or the Professor...]

[Nano's eyes slowly begin to flutter open.]

...Mm?

[Blink blink.]

[And then her eyes shoot wide open, accompanied by a loud scream as she tries to back up, falling over as she gets herself even more tangled up in the blankets.]

[Once she's able to pick herself up, she covers herself up with the blanket as best she can before nervously stammering out a question.]

W-w-who are you? Why were we...? How did you...?

[Well, several questions. Half-questions.]

Kotoha just stares dumbly for a while, unable to process what just happened.

"...you're not Zoroark."

Sorry, that's about as insightful as she's capable of right now.

[Nano whimpers a little, pulling the blanket up more.]

U-um, no... but what were you doing in my bed?

Kotoha looks around a little.

Yup, not her apartment.

"...I have no idea."

[ Yukko throws the door open unceremoniously and leaps in, holding a frying pan like a baseball bat. ]

Nano-chan?! I heard you scream and -

[ Yukko freezes up. She slowly looks between Kotoha and Nano, her mouth hanging open. ]

... whu... wha...

[OH GOD IT JUST GOT WORSE

Nano backs away from Kotoha even more, whirling around to face Yukko.]

Y-Yukko-san...! Th-this isn't what it looks like at all!

Kotoha looks between Yukko, Nano, and herself for a while.

Okay so time to take stock. 1: She's...still in her nightclothes, a.k.a. her underwear. 2: This is not her apartment. 3: She recognizes only one of these people.

One hand instinctively reaches up to fiddle with her visor, but of course she's not wearing it, so she just rakes it through her hair instead. With her buns down, it's a lot longer than normal, and thanks to the whole bed head issue her hand hits a tangle fairly quickly. Kotoha winces a little before putting her hand down.

"...Yukko? Do you know why I'm here?"

[ Oh hey, she recognizes you Kotoha... ]

Oh. Hey.

[ Yukko blinks. Anyone else would have put two-and-two together fairly quickly. It was, after all, rather scandalous. Especially considering Kotoha was only wearing her nightclothes.

Yukko... is still tired, so it takes her a moment to look between. She looks between Kotoha and Nano, back and forth. Blink blink...

She barely registers Kotoha's question when she makes her discovery! ]

- Guuuh!

[ Yukko jumps and turns her head away. She covers her eyes with her hands! ]

Nano, I'm sorry! I didn't know you two were - were - I-I'll leave!

[ This is even worse than all those times she saw Mio's drawings! So much worse! ]

[Just look at that realistic blush spreading across Nano's face, and down her neck, and all the way to the tips of her fingers and toes! Truly, she is a marvel of robotic engineering. Shaking her head desperately, she continues to wave her arms around in a panic as her key spins wildly on her back.]

N-no...! We're not...! I mean...! I've never seen this girl before today! A-and I already have someone I-

[WAIT CRAP NO

Nano stops mid-sentence, clapping both hands tightly over her mouth and shaking her head.]

Kotoha, still not really sure what's happening, just blurts out the first thing that pops into her head.

"...wow, you're cute."

[ Nano's little slip up makes Yukko curious. She might even press the subject. Well, had Kotoha not said that Nano was cute. Yukko spins her head around. ]

W-What?! I - I don't -

[ Oh no she can't... Handle this. She just. Slumps to her knees and holds her head in her hands. ]

My head hurts.

I don't know what happened, Yukko-san! I woke up and she was here already! I don't... um... I...

[And Nano has basically just collapsed into confused muttering nonsense at this point. She's also blushing heavily, steam slowly hissing out of the top of her head.]

C-cute...

"Is that normal?"
