Now I face out, I hold out
Who: Yu and you!
Where: Libra Ward, in the streets
When: Any day (except Saturdays) during the night and into the 13th Hour, before the Grand Prix.
Format: Whichever you feel like.
Summary: Yu's getting himself back into fighting form for this tournament.
[As if Yu Narukami didn't have enough to do with his life, between working three jobs to save up for a place to stay and looking after his little cousin, now he's staying up to ungodly hours of the night to train for the Grand Prix. Sometimes he had to ask himself how he did it, where he found the energy to attend to so many tasks at the same time. He had to be nuts; he never drove himself this crazy before he came to Inaba...]
[In any case, until the Grand Prix, Yu can be found in the Libra Ward, not far from his apartment building. During the 13th Hour, he's focused on fighting Shadows, getting himself into the thick of it with Izanagi at his side (and later after a trip to the Velvet Room, his new Persona as well). Yeah, he's getting banged up as a result, but he doesn't care; the experience will be worth it.]
[Before the 13th Hour, Yu is still out, sword slung over his shoulder, staking out a good place to get ready and fight. He's switched back to his katana from Inaba; as much as he liked the beam sword he got on his first day, using his old weapon felt appropriate for this. Until the 13th Hour, he's willing to spar with anyone that wants the practice; after all, these were one on one Persona duels. The best experience would come from combating against others.]
[In short? Come at him; him and Izanagi are ready for all of you.]

Final Boss and Protagonist?
"How can Desco get stronger like this?!"
Wow, she sounds...young. Maybe you should investigate or something??
Oh my god. XDDD

Okay yeah it's a little girl...uhh, probably? Maybe? If you just...ignore the multiple golden eyes, and the long pointed ears, and the tiny red horns, and the giant claws for fingers, and...all those tentacles that are also apparently...mouths...
If you ignore all that, she's clearly just a little girl pouting over something.
Yeah.

> You see a little demon child...
- ...leave it be.
- Run like hell.
- Approach it?
Yu had to admit that he was a little concerned by her... appearance, but at least it answered his question of why someone so young sounding was out at this time of night. After a moment, he hesitantly approached, not sure if that was the right thing to do, but she did sound pretty distraught.
"Are you okay?" he asked, keeping his voice soft and comforting.

"These demons are too weak for Desco to fight!"
She flails her claw-tipped arms for emphasis.
"Desco cannot possibly bother her Persona for things this weak!"
The maws on her tentacles are snapping in agitation as she continues.
"B-but if Desco doesn't summon her Persona, it won't get stronger! What is Desco going to do?"
no subject
...well.
Yu had to just... stare for a moment. She was upset because the monsters were too weak? Um... wow.
"You may be strong, but your Persona is still a low level," he explained, trying to keep his tone comforting, but it was a bit hard in his current state of exasperation. Still, he was guessing this girl didn't come from a world where Persona's already existed... at least, he's pretty sure he'd remember something that looked like her. "Even weak shadows will help it get stronger."
no subject
"Can you help Desco, then? She kind of already killed all the demons in this area."
no subject
"I can help you find another place to practice..."
no subject
She is giggling in happiness.
It is kind of creepy how much she is like a normal little girl.

He walked with her down the street, heading into the next ward over. There should be plenty more shadows, but there was no telling how far of a radius her killing spree had lasted...
no subject
"If Desco didn't need to make her Persona stronger, she would thank you for this by offering the use of her body!"
...what.
no subject
"What... do you mean...?"
no subject
"Repay a favor with a favor, of course! Even a Final Boss like Desco is aware of common courtesy."
Her primary tentacles nod along with her, releasing soft trilling chirps as she continues speaking.
"Before, Desco wasn't suited to be used by Big Sis, but she trained really hard and managed to change herself!"
Her chest puffs out as she swells with pride.
"And now Desco is the strongest axe there is!"
no subject
"What do you mean by that?" he asked. "Final Boss?"
Why did he suddenly feel worried for his health...?
no subject
"Mwahahaha! Gaze in awe upon the legendary Final Boss, Desco!"
Skipping the Final Boss voice because there's only one person and she's trying to be informative, not intimidating.
no subject
"...I see."
no subject
"Thank you for helping Desco!"
She glances around, looking for eavesdroppers, before leaning a little bit closer to confide in you.
"Desco has already met her Chosen Hero, so right now she is training to be a Final Boss worthy of him!"
no subject
...aw crap.
"Ah, well... be sure to let him know before you try to kill him. Heroes like that."
no subject
"Desco has already promised that she won't kill him when she wins!"
A pause as she looks at you. Her red eyes narrow in thought, but she doesn't say anything quite yet.
no subject
"Oh, that's good," he replied... and good in more ways than one. It didn't click before, but it sounded like she was talking about someone else, which was a very good thing. He already had his hands full as it was.
no subject
"Are you interested in joining the Hero's party? Desco is pretty sure he needs a meatshield!"
no subject
Still, he needed to get this girl somewhere quick and get out of dodge. If this girl found Shadows easy, then he doubt he could stand much of a chance.
no subject
"That's alright. Desco is sure you'll find your niche someday."
no subject
He glanced behind him, half expecting to see Izanami with a bucket of popcorn on a street corner.
no subject
Looking up at you now.
"Should Desco summon her Persona now or later?"
