Summary: Yu's getting himself back into fighting form for this tournament.

[As if Yu Narukami didn't have enough to do with his life, between working three jobs to save up for a place to stay and looking after his little cousin, now he's staying up to ungodly hours of the night to train for the Grand Prix. Sometimes he had to ask himself how he did it, where he found the energy to attend to so many tasks at the same time. He had to be nuts; he never drove himself this crazy before he came to Inaba...]

[In any case, until the Grand Prix, Yu can be found in the Libra Ward, not far from his apartment building. During the 13th Hour, he's focused on fighting Shadows, getting himself into the thick of it with Izanagi at his side (and later after a trip to the Velvet Room, his new Persona as well). Yeah, he's getting banged up as a result, but he doesn't care; the experience will be worth it.]

[Before the 13th Hour, Yu is still out, sword slung over his shoulder, staking out a good place to get ready and fight. He's switched back to his katana from Inaba; as much as he liked the beam sword he got on his first day, using his old weapon felt appropriate for this. Until the 13th Hour, he's willing to spar with anyone that wants the practice; after all, these were one on one Persona duels. The best experience would come from combating against others.]

[The soft clinking of metal could be heard in the quiet moments as Ginia approached the boy. There were maces at her hips, but her posture indicated that she wasn't planning on drawing them anytime soon.]

[Yu heard the metal clinking and kept a firm grip on his sword, fully expecting to be attacked. That was why when the woman that was behind him suddenly spoke instead of tried to bury a weapon in his back, he couldn't help but look surprised. He relaxed, though only slightly.]

[It actually took Yu a moment to realize what happened. He ordered Izanagi forward as he reached up to wipe the blood from his face and suddenly… no blood? He looked back in that confusing moment to see Minato and his Persona there, and raised his sword in return. Still… he'd summoned a number of Personae before coming here, but never one quite as magestic and at the same te foreboding as the other linefaced protagonist. Just what kind of kid was he?]

Yu paused at that, staring blankly in the direction of the voice. What was someone that young sounding doing out and about when there were so many shadows around? Of course he was going to investigate, and he bolted toward the direction of that voice. If the person was as young as they sounded, the they might be in serious trouble...!

*Misery's out tonight, but there's a torn look on her face as she wanders out. She'd signed up for the tournament, but had been told there was a good chance she'd have to use her soul Persona. And her soul Persona was... that man.

She didn't want to use that man. For a moment, she'd almost considered pulling out altogether. But that would be a sign of weakness.

On the other hand, if she had to use him, that meant she had to actually level him. And that mean, well, using him before she has to use him. She seems undecided about this -- ah, someone's here.*

[Yosuke motions to the sword slung over his shoulder with a grin.] I could use a sparring session with someone with Zio spells, if you're willing to fight someone with Garu spells.

[Yu smiled faintly, glad to see Yosuke out and training. Being asked to spar brought his eyebrow shooting up to his hairline, however.]

She was never too keen on pain before, and now wasn't so different. Her reflective eyes shine in the darkness, and she approaches him after he dispatches some of the Shadows.]
